A flemish act are currently climbing the flemish charts with a cover of Stevies 'Stand back' its by 'Pure polly Esther' :o Its at #13 at the moment, I havent heard it, but I am curious

I can never seem to figure out AudioGalaxy or make my computer work with that but I guess I will have to try again...I spend so much time doing boring computer stuff at work (except for posting on the Ledge!!) that I don't have the patience when I get home to sit down and figure out the fun stuff!

Rod Stewart covered this a few years ago and went nowhere. It would be nice to see somebody do it justice and top the charts again. Great song!

I never actually heard his vesion but I saw it was on one of his MoTownish albums from a few years back i think...and I shuddered to think what Rod Stewart had done with a MoTowned version of Stand Back. Now if it had been Stevie Wonder....mmmhmmm.....

It sounds like a karaoke version - music is almost identical to the original, with a longer intro. I really don't care for this chick's voice. I just listened to it once and deleted it. :(
