(Might be LONGGGG) ;)

My first and ONLY (so far) was on the TISL tour when she hit IL. It was amazing to me...I was in AWE of her. Everyone reacts differently to that situation and I had NO CLUE what to expect because I had never experienced a concert let alone a STEVIE concert. So I got in there,I have floor seats...WAYYYYY Back...but HELLO..STILL floor! Well when I finally made my way up to the front...it was during Bombay Sapphires and I saw her face....I just ...SPEECHLESS. This was the person that I've been a die-hard fan of for years and NOW I got to see her.INCREDIBLE....
On a VERY funny SIDE note...I had come all the way from Winona,MN to be there because (hmmm call it intution) but I DIDN'T want to wait for the MN concert. (which ended up being cancelled) I'm 16 and got a hotel,a friend to drive me,and a ticket..ALL by myself. I was making some plans to meet some Ledgie friends of mine and it didn't pan out well because there were like three Mcdonald's in the same radius. Laura (LAURAHI..is the Ledgie) had told me "I'll be wearing this, and this and this..and OH...my BOYFRIEND looks like LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM". ...so I pretty BUMMED out that I didn't get to meet these people....before the concert...because they sounded so AWESOME online.
Well At the END of the concert I DIDN'T want to go back to the Hotel and I thought I should wander until I just can't wander anymore...so I DID...for maybe about 10 minutes. Now you WON'T believe this..but I was walking out..talkng to some people on the way...and then I saw this person join in on our conversation and.... I looked at her...I looked at her BOYFRIEND and I KNEW...it was LAURA. What's even MORE amazing about this was the fact that we were trying to get a hold of my friend (a worried sick adult) at the hotel...And we kept trying and trying and trying and there was no answer.I went out and had a good time with them and by the time I got back to the hotel it was about 3 or 4 in the morning...we had tried to get a hold of them ALL NIGHT, but I STILL couldn't reach their room.THey drove me back to the hotel and waited with me...the guy at the desk REFUSED to let me in..because I was a MINOR...threatened to call the cops on me...and I COULDN'T get a hold of them..STILL (By this point you think there was SOMETHING wrong here) it turns out that the STUPID Hotel phone to the room was NOT working.....So if I wouldn't have found Laura and Jeremy AFTER the concert...I don't know WHAT I would have done.
It was just a FUN,WILD,and CRAZY night that I'll NEVER forget!:]

Where and when did you first see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

*** Well I was so lucky, thats all I have to say. I can tell this story a million times and probably have. I got into Fleetwood Mac because of the Dance in 8-97. The tour was starting and I ran into money...so I went to get a ticket. Sold out! I was so mad. So I went to win them on a radio station ( a young top 40 was even giving away those suckers!) and 9:00 first try I won after telling the dj I was a tall cute redhead and that I *didn't* look like Stevie( I know, bad but I wanted that ticket!) so I first saw them 9-26-97 at the Camden E Center.

Where and when did you last see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

*** Last FM concert was the Dance show in AC 11-97.
Last Stevie was 9-15-2001. Again I was blessed. I had a show in NY the day after the 9-11 attacks. Of course it was cancelled and I was sad...but it really didn't matter. Who wanted to see Stevie after 9-11? I was scared to be near NY in all honesty.

9-15 was a Saturday, I was off and depressed because 9-11 was a hard time. But I wanted to see Stevie in AC. I just felt she could heal me. So my friend and I went last minute with NO TICKETS. We got to the ticket counter...nothing. I cried. Then she said wait and we got 2 really bad seats...but I was happy. We saw her practice and ran into Sharon C.

So we got drunk at the Hard Rock because we were nervous and stressed...( I totally regret that now) and a friend came to me with two tickets. I told her we didn't have the $$. She said oh well and gave us GREAT 10th row tickets for free!!! I couldn't believe it! So we were at 10th row, yes I was pretty trashed but it was so much fun. Im always lucky!!!

I've always loved that line from 'American Pie.'

The last Fleetwood Mac related concert I saw was Stevie at the Atlantic City 'tisl' show. What a night.

Only days after 9-11.... Stevie was in her full "tisl" set list mode, and gave a beautiful, heartfelt performance. Not only was she there for us, but we were there for her. I will never forget this night...

and my first show.. St. Lous and the checkerdome. Me and Greg drove all the way from Springfield for the show... bought pot outside the arena that turned out to be tea.. and we smoked it anyway. I'll never forget "Sisters of the Moon" "Rhiannon" "Go Your Own Way" and "Angel". I think that was the night that Stevie became my favorite member of the band. I will never forget this night...

I didn't get into FM until the Dance, and by then, I was too late to see them!

So my first time was this past August - Stevie's TISL tour - in the Houston Woodlands arena. I had 10th row seats that I payed too much money for and danced all night! It was awesome.

The last time (and the second time) was when I saved up to go to Phoenix in Dec. I was second row and it was one of the best nights of my life. An incredible experience! I'm already saving up for the next one - and the FM tour - I'm prepared to shut off the heat....lol

and I've enjoyed every minute of it!

The first time was The White Album Tour. It was special seeing the "characters" of FM performing live up on the stage in front of me with the full moon backdrop...the names, the voices became REAL. Actually it was the first concert I'd ever seen.

Last time was TISL last year. A beautful July day at an outdoor venue in Cincinnati. Stevie's performance was stellar, as if she hadn't missed a beat in 25 yrs....well maybe lost a few registers and gained a "few" pounds.. LOVE YA STEVIE!

The first time I saw any of them was in Indy for the Dance. We had fourth row....and it was just unbelievable. They were awesome. I think the coolest moment had to have been when I looked through my Mom's binoculars during Go Insane. lmao!! I could actually see the individual beads of sweat running down Lindsey's face...and disappearing into the collar of his shirt. HAHAHA......~~whew~~ WHAT a moment!

The last time was in Nashville, for TISL. And the most memorable thing for that show was that I even got to see her at all...cause I had fourth row for Indy again....and she CANCELLED! And I lost SO MUCH MONEY on those tickets, and didn't figure the hubby would let me spend any more...lol. But I got 11th row like two days before the Nashville show....which was great! Oh, and the feather in her hat...lol...that rocked! AND when she brought Sulamith onstage. TOO cute!~~"GET A YORKIE!!"~~lol.

~~Angela~~:wavey: (Who is going to AT LEAST three shows on the new tour!!:D )

The first and only time I saw FM was for the Behind The Mask tour here in the UK. But no Lindsey :(

The first time I saw Stevie solo was for TOSOTM again here in the UK. Lousy seats and Stevie was not at her best.

The last time I saw Stevie was 6th October'01 in Las Vegas. Coolest moment??? Meeting Stevie!!

I've never seen Fleetwood Mac live... :distress:

BUT I saw Stevie in Atlanta last September for TISL, and that was pretty much the coolest moment of my life so far! :) The seats were not that amazing... we were on the floor, but it was about 20 rows back... but it was STEVIE, so who cares WHERE the seats were?!?!

Where and when did you first see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

I have never seen FM live yet, but the first Stevie concert I ever went to was at Radio City Music Hall in New York for her Enchanted tour. My seats were 20 rows back on the floor, but I didn't really care at that time where I sat.. just to be able to experience her concert was enough for me.

Where and when did you last see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

The last Stevie concert I went to was at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles for the TISL tour. My seats were in the pit.. a few rows away from the stage and it was incredible, especially being able to go up to the stage for Edge of Seventeen and having Stevie shake your hand! What an awesome feeling... to admire and be inspired by someone for so long and then to actually shake their hand and have them talk back to you! It blew my mind!!!

Where and when did you first see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

When they taped their appearance on "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert" at the Long Beach Auditorium in September 1974...around the beginning of the "Heroes Are Hard To Find" tour. (A year earlier, I had tickets to see Fleetwood Mac & Deep Purple at the Long Beach Arena...but the DJ of my local radio station found out that it was going to be the "Bogus" Fleetwood Mac, so he told everybody who was going to the show primarily to SEE Fleetwood Mac to NOT go and get their money back, so I did)

Where and when did you last see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

Almost 5 weeks ago...March 16th...saw Rick Vito at the Blue Cafe in Long Beach. AWESOME show! And will be seeing Peter Green Splinter Group in a little under 3 weeks at the Downtown Disney House Of Blues on May 9th.

Hey....i've never seen FM, but i did see Stevie last summer.....

Me and 4 of my friends went to see Stevie when she came to IL....and,like Alex said, we planned on meeting up with some ledgies, but there were like 300 mcdonald's,lol. but we did end up meeting Jasmit after all (thanks to the ledge badges!) me, mal and trisha were semi-dressed like stevie, and we had pretty crappy seats, but when we asked this sercurity person where our seats were, she said "you guys look like big fans" and pulled out seats...so we found our new seats and they were FOLDING CHAIRS! lol, as opposed to like 3 balcony, it was AWESOME! so, thru the whole concert we're screaming and yelling, and THEN at the end, we were waving our roses and yelling, and Stevie WAVED at us....no joke....lol, i still can't believe it....we screamed about that all night! so, that was my first Stevie concert experience....

This cannot be true!!!

I saw them first time ~get this~ 4th row in Indy!!! and I had the exact same seats for TISL too!! Oh wow! Thats SOOOOOO strange!! And I knew I could shake her hand on the TISL tour because I had 4 th row, and I was rather depressed when it was cancelled, but I got all of my money back from the broker.

And even stranger... I got 11th row in Ohio!!

What a trip, Angela! What part of Indy are you in??

My one and only FM or solo artist concert was the aforementioned craziness in Alex's post... it was too much fun. I had a cold and wound up with laryngitis, but you better believe I was up and singing full force! Of course, I had to work the next day and wound up going to tables sounding like I had tuberculosis. Ew. Anyway, I also got to meet Jasmit and her friends that day, who were really cool and OH MY GOD I STILL HAVE NOT SENT HER HER COPY OF TRIAD JASMIT I AM A VERY VERY BAD LEDGIE AND I WILL DO THAT I PROMISE! Um yeah. We were the only 2 ledgies who wound up at the same McDonald's. Hee hee. At the end of the night, after we met Alex, we hung out by the limos (we were like 100ft away and they were down an incline) and they tried to trick us by sending out a "dummy" limo, but that didn't work for us die hards  So finally, Stevie and Cheryl came out and we were some of the first people to see them and waved and when they drove by Stevie was on our side and she saw us and waved back! Here's the funny part... She was staring at my boyfriend! LOL! Probably just a coincidence, but we may have scared the crap out of her with the "look-alike"!

Well, the most exciting thing that happened was in Worcester Mass on 9/15/82. I got to meet Stevie backstage at the Worcester Centrum after a Mac concert.

How weird is THAT?!?! LOL!! I'm not from Indy, actually...I'm from Kentucky...but FM/Stevie NEVER come here:mad: :o  , so I had to go to the nearest place I could find! lol. We had ALMOST the exact same seats for TISL that we had for the Dance, lol...they were like two seats down:D And the stupid broker we got the tickets from did NOT refund my money...not even the purchase price of the ticket...SO, he made LOTS of $$$ off of THOSE tickets.   (Can I post his name here? lol...well, his initials are SB...so BEWARE people  ) But it all turned out for the good, cause the seats at the Nashville show were great...even if I didn't get to go up and shake her hand!!
Anyway....it's too bad we didn't know each other, lol...that would've been cool to have met up!!

Well my first one was last year, July 18, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for Stevie's tour. I had 12th row, dead center, seats. It was sooooo amazing!!!! I sang to EVERY song and didn't sit once.

The last one I've been to was Stevie's AHI Benefit concert last December in Phoenix, Arizona. My seat wasn't as good, but it was still an awesome show. Except for when one the ushers told me I had to sit down. I couldn't believe it. How the hell can you sit down at a concert??!!!! People were even still sitting during Stand Back and Edge of Seventeen, I just couldnt do it.

First of all...any of you that saw FM in the '70's - i bow to you! i'm not worthy...i would kill to have seen them then...i have so many tapes from that era (in boxes) and i just wish i was born about ten years younger! i first saw stevie at Alpine Valley, WI on 5-31-86...first concert ever...i saw her three weeks later at Poplar Creek, IL on 6-21-86 )(the 'cloaks and daggers' live bootleg cd was recorded there). I was in awe both times...i had been a fan for about 4 years at that point. i'm glad i got to see her at that point being it was the last tour she was partying a bit...i was 16 and i didn't really notice anything crazy except she was spinning a bit and quite chatty with the audience and really seemed to have a good time (now we know why! =) )

i first saw FM in LA on 12-7-87 and it was a really long concert and really good despite Lindsey's absence.

I last saw Stevie at PNC in Jersey in, I think July (?) 2001...good show despite the loss of "Outside the Rain" =( although i did see her in Hartford, CT a few weeks before then when she did the whole set - YAY! The thing i remember about that show was 'fall from grace'...her performance was vintage Stevie without a doubt...during the verses '...and now alone in my room as it all begins again...' she had both hands on her head with her eyes closed and her chiffon draping and she looked VERY intense..very 'sisters of the moon'....which, i hope they do one more time! Fat chance i'm sure =(

i live just north of nyc about 50 miles so it's cool cause i can go to about 4 shows ( NY, NJ, CT - without travelling very far) everytime FM or Stevie come around...Can't wait!

By the way, i've moved around quite a bit that's why all the various shows i saw were all over the place!

Hey,

My first FM concert was way back in 1990 during the BTM tour and it was great eventhouhg Lindsey wasn't there anymore.

I never had the chance to see Stevie live.

The last time FM was during the Time tour, they played in a small concerthall near the place I live. My dad got me the tickets because a mate of his organized it.

The last member I saw was Rick Vito who played with John Fogerty when he opened for Tina Turner two years ago, it was awsome.

Bye, LOL

It was in '97, opening date for The Dance tour @ HArtford. I was 11 then, and sitting to the right of the stage. I remember 'The Chain" and "Second Hand News" the most. It was great. I bought a t-shirt of the White album. Before we got there they had a radio station playing all FM songs.

1. Thanksgiving 1997, Fleetwood Mac at MSG, NYC.
2. Oct 11, 2014. NJ. Fleetwood Mac On with the Show tour

I found this thread during another archeologic afternoon. I was surprised why I didn't post before. At that time the first was the only concert I went. Now I can answer the 2014 as the last one. Never went to a solo concert, but I saw them in 2009 too, the Unleashed tour.

I'd have liked to go to the BuckVie concert but the 2017 budget didn't allow it.

First concert: Stevie Nicks 1983 Wild Heart tour
Last concert: Lindsey Buckingham 2018

Saw Stevie, Chris and Lindsey all solo.

Highlights for me: Grabbing both Stevie hands during an edge walk in 1998
Seeing Chris in concert and her tour bus in 1984
Strumming Lindsey's guitar during GYOW in 2018
Farewell tour 1990 was a great concert and a favorite of mine
BuckVie was an incredible treat 2017
Saw OWTS twice in 2 different cities 2014/2015

Where and when did you first see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

1995; Time tour at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina. I was 13 and bitterly disappointed it wasn’t the band I was expecting.

Where and when did you last see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

2012; Lindsey’s solo show at Antone’s in Austin, Texas. I was 30 and loved the show. Very special to be in such an intimate venue.

I had tickets for the Raleigh, NC stop of The Dance tour (Raleigh, NC), but that show was cancelled. I saw Stevie’s Enchanted show the following year instead (same venue). I saw FM 3 times during the Say You Will tour; excellent shows (Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC). I saw Tom Petty’s 2006 show in Charlotte where Stevie was a guest; very enjoyable, though he was ultra high. I wanted to see FM when Christine returned but didn’t want to pay those prices. Same with the Buckingham McVie tour. I don’t foresee seeing any FM related shows again.

Where and when did you first see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

March 1977, The Summit in Houston, Texas on the Rumours Tour. I was 7 years old and it was my first introduction to Fleetwood Mac. My mother had The White Album and Rumours on 8-Track tape and we listened to them constantly. We sang every song and had a fantastic time. I have been a diehard fan since that evening.

Where and when did you last see FM or any member of FM live in concert?

Fleetwood Mac, December 2014, Toyota Center Houston, On With the Show Tour. In light of Christine McVie's passing, I am so fortunate to have witnessed this last tour with the five fireflies. It was an amazing evening. With the Rumours five being recently reunited, we had NO idea that this would be the last time to see them all together on one stage. In hindsight, how bittersweet.

Stevie Nicks, October 2016, Toyota Center Houston, 24KG Tour. Great show digging back into the old catalog.

Sidenotes: I've seen nearly every Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks tour since 1977 (with the exception of the TIME Tour when they were opening for REO Speedwagon - I had no interest in the lineup). Another amazing highlight was seeing Christine McVie's solo show in June, 1984 at The Majestic Theater in San Antonio.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread, Villavic. It’s so interesting to see all the old responses from the pre-SYW days.

First: Say You Will tour - July 12, 2003 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. I was 13 and it was my first real concert.

Last: Stevie’s current tour - March 18, 2023 in Las Vegas. My feelings toward Stevie have grown more and more resentful in recent years, but somehow I still find myself compelled to never miss a tour. Probably that naïve 13-year-old kid still in me.

Highlights:
-Randomly running into Mick in the audience of a Stevie show in 2005.
-Meeting Waddy, Brett, and Jimmy after another Stevie show in 2005.
-Strumming Lindsey’s guitar during many GYOWs over the years, but especially the time someone handed him a sharpie and he managed to sign a bunch of our arms without missing a beat.
-Biggest highlight of all for me was the OWTS tour at Madison Square Garden in October 2014, my first time seeing Christine live. Watching her walk out onto the stage felt like an impossible dream come true; before 2014 I thought she’d never come back. So grateful to have had the chance to see her 5 times.

1. first: Stevie 2005 (Nissan Pavilion, Bristow VA, outside Washington DC – now Jiffy Lube Live)
2. last: FM 2009 (1st Mariner Bank Arena, Baltimore MD – formerly Baltimore Civic Center, now CFG Bank Arena)
3. highlights:
–Stevie with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers 2006 (believe she sang lead vocals on 3 songs on backing vocals on about 5). I thought, "This should be her band. She and Tom should co-headline and have the Heartbreakers back each of them.
–Lindsey's "I'm So Afraid" in 2006. Two people around me had been talking and snapping photos the whole show. I got up and moved just before he did "I'm So Afraid," so the song was refreshing in more ways than one.
–Lindsey's 2009 solo on "The Chain"
