Yes! My husband and I are addicted, I am embarrassed to say!

And we are people who don't really watch much tv, I could care less what's happening on Friends, and when we do have it on, we pride ourselves on being all "high brow" and watching Discovery Civilization and History Channel, but yes, I found it because I do like to check out MTV and Regular VH1 (not classic) once in a while.
In no time, there I am on Tuesday nights forsaking that documentary on the Ancient Mayans, watching Ozzie's dog crap on his expensive rug laughing my ass off!

I think Ozzie has brain damage from too many years of substance abuse.

My husband called me down to the garage the other night just Ozzie calls his wife - SSSSHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAARROOOOOOOOOOOOONN!!

I told him that if he was going to pick up bad habits from TV he just couldn't watch anymore! LOL!!

OH! and I did mean to add, I bet Stevie does like it.

She's probably laughing at all those doggie incidents, too, only I really hope she isn't in the kitchen cleaning up her own doggie's messes!

 I don't know when they're gonna show The Osbournes over here, but I can't wait! It sounds so cool, and Ozzy used to crack me up in interviews anyway because he DOES act like he has permanent brain damage from all those drugs! :D

I LOVE THE OSBOURNES !!!!! :wavey:

Sharon Osbourne be my neighbour any day !!!!

"Martha Stewart can lick my s****um" is my favourite Sharon line !!!

The scenes with Ozzy and the pooch are my favourite also, along with Kelli losing Ozzy's credit card and being made to tear apart the SUV along with her room !!! :D

The fight with the neighbours is a scream along with Sharon's banter about fixing them a cup of tea...

I'm glad Ozzy loves the History Channel !!! Lets write to them to have Ozzy & Family shoot a few promos for them !!!!

need to get together. I mean, that would be a riot if Stevie guest stared in an episode. If Elijah Wood and his sister can be on that show, so can Stevie! I would love to see Stevie and Sharon having a conversation about the dogs or something.

Sharon is hilarious and so is Ozzy. I made my dad watch it with me, and now he loves it, but when he first saw Jack, he was like "That has got to be the ugliest kid I have ever seen".

Ozzy does have a few less brain cells, I totally agree. I love him though, he's so funny without even trying. I bet Stevie loves this show, and I also think we shoud start a petition or write to MTV and see what we can do about Stevie being on the show. :)

I don't think Ozzy does drugs anymore does he? Although I was little surprised to see him have wine being the raging alcoholic he once was. I'd think Sharon would flip out seeing how he once almost killed her in one of his drunken fits. Can you tell I've watched his BTM one too many times?

Well, Sharon told Jack to go get Ozzy, he's stoned, so I figure he was high. Yeah, I think he still does do stuff, he DOES drink, we know that. He really shouldn't. :( Sad, really.

What! I so wanted Ozzy to not be a drug addict anymore
I wonder if she could have meant something else? Because the way they talk about drugs to their kids - it sounds as if they're really against them now.

I certainly hope that she meant something else...maybe it was just a "joke", like, "Go get your dumb dad, he's stoned silly" or something! LOL

When they were trying to talk to their kids about the parties getting out of hand, Ozzy had SUCH a difficult time paying attention and he kept getting up and Sharon would say, "Sit down, Ozzy. Come sit with me." It's just a trip to watch!!

Can you say...ADDICTED....lol

I am also addicted to watching the Osbournes. They crack me up. They are so dysfunctional but so normal!
Ozzy cracks me up cause I have no idea what the hell he is saying half the time.

I love the dog Lola, though she does poop everywhere. I don't know how they handle all those animals.
I puppysit my cousin's two pups and they can be a handful sometimes.

"I'm the f***** prince of darkness..." ozzy and bubbles!

so how many more episodes to go? I heard they might do the next season in their home in England.

I LOVE THAT SHOW! It's is so bloody funny! I loved the bubbles too! I loved when Sharon threw a spoiled ham into the neighbots yard and then Ozzie proceeds to through a log through their window. Sharon's like " No Ozzie! Not wood" That was classic!!

New episodes are on Tuesday nights right after the "Real World Chicago." I'm not sure what time it would be on where you live. There are repeats throughout the week but I don't know what time they are on either.

OMG!! I just noticed how horrible my spelling and grammar was in my last post. SORRY!! (I feel like Ozzy now) Just Kidding...did anyone see Saturday Night Live this weekend? They did a skit making fun of how Ozzie talks. It was hilarious. I just think it's so weird that he can hardly put a sentence together when speaking but, when he sings, he's good old Ozzie.

I might be crazy, but I'm pretty sure I've heard the word "stoned" used in the same context as "drunk", meaning drinking alcohol. For instance, I'm assuming that's what Billy Joel is meaning in Piano Man when he says, "...and the waitress is practicing politics/While the businessmen slowly get stoned..." anyone else hear this?

Well, I've heard my grandmother use the word "high" to refer to being "drunk," but I've never heard "stoned" refer to it, but then if high can mean drunk then I guess so can stoned. Even if he did smoke pot, it doesn't mean he's still addicted to it. Same with alcohol. It's not like he's using and abusing it. As long as it's under control, it's not an addiction. For example, none of us can control our love for Stevie, while some fans (as we have heard in the "sitting down" concert posts) obviously can because if they couldn't, they would be standing up at concerts like the rest of us. I think Ozzy still occasionally tokes the bong and sips the wine, I just think it's not as out of control as it was.

As far as the show goes, I absolutely love it. It's just another reality television show I watch, and I've noticed that those are the only types of television shows I watch anymore, besides The Simpsons. My FAVORITE thing that happened on the Osbournes was when Ozzy had to chase the cat through the backyard, and he's hobbling along at like, 1 mile per hour with his cane trying to catch a cat, screaming for Sharon. In addition, the Osbournes has become MTV's highest rated television show, last week's ratings were 6.3 million. It's pop culture's next big thing.

I just read that The Osbournes will be coming onto MTV over here in May. I think the date was around the 19th...don't quote me on that though ;)

So is it semi-scripted, yet featuring his real family? It can't be just Big Brother style hidden video?? I don't fully get it. Look forward to checking it out when it comes over here.

It is kinda "Big Brother"-style... more like The Real World, actually. It looks like they're always being taped, or at least much of the time, and someone edits the footage into a sort of storyline. There are occasional "confessionals" too, to use a Real World phrase  These are where they sit and talk to "us" or "the Director" or whomever it may concern via the camera.
All in all, the show is one of the wittiest, funniest f&@$ing things I've seen in a long time. I especially love the lounge-style rendition of "Crazy Train" at the beginning, lol

In the recent People Magazine (Celebs Having Babies past 40 !) they asked Henry Winkler (Happy Days), Alan Thicke (Growing Pains), and Dick Van Patten (Eight Is Enough) how their respective TV Families would have handled the following....

-Lola the pooch fertilising Ozzy & Sharons home

-Kelli sneaking off with Ozzy's Credit Card

-Sharon fighting with the neighbours

-Ozzy searching for his missing shotgun

Needless to say their answers were quite amusing, but dear Ledgies how would you have handled the above fiascos if you were either Ozzy or Sharon ?

Try em out !!!

In reference to the part about Sharon saying Ozzy was "high" it may also refer to the pain medication he was on. I think it was Vicodin or something for his broken leg. I was reading the article in Rolling Stone about the show and Sharon said something about how Ozzy was addicted to the pain meds about as soon as he got them for his leg. So basically anything the man touches he has a high chance of becoming addicted to it. I think that's why Sharon wants to keep such a close eye on him.

And I agree the funniest part was when he was chasing the cat in the backyard and it kept running away from him. That was sooo funny!

How about the part last night where Ozzy took the pocket knife away from Jack. He looked pretty pissed. That was the first time I've ever seen Ozzy get that pissed at one of his kids.
