Okay, don't know if any of ya'll might have this, or even be able to figure out which pic I mean by description only, buuuutt....

My FAVE Lindsey pic is a black & white shot they used in the FM Behind the Music. I think they show it rather early on in the show, maybe while they're just showing a series of still shots w/ music? It's been awhile since I sat and watched the BTM. ANYWAY, it is a close-up of Lindsey alone, pretty much just a face shot, and he is looking toward the right (when you see it on TV, he's facing the right side of your TV screen). He has the 'fro, is bearded, and is really smiling nicely. But the most amazing thing are his EYES. It's only a black and white pic, so you can't see their blueness, but his eyes look like sparkling crystals - so amazingly beautiful! :nod:

If anyone knows what I'm talking about and would like to post it, I'd be a happy camper for sure!

What about that adorable scar on his chin?
I know ya'll have seen it. I really shows up in recent photos, but it is visible in some of the older shots as well. Has he had it pretty much all his adult life? Does Anyone know an anecdote about how he got it? I have wondered if it was a childhood accident, (big brothers can be pretty mean, lol!) Or did he get it in a fight, or maybe some horrible guitar incident, like getting popped in the chin with a flying broken string?

Just one of those ponderings that goes along with being an obsessed fan, I guess....

Well, I don't "GOT it," but I can at least tell you where that unbelieveable pic is of Linds in the FM BTM show.

Okay, after the first commercial break (at least on the copy that I have), so it's very close to the beginning of the show, they show Stevie talking, and she's saying "within 6 months, we were very well known and very rich." and then goes on to say "I don't think we ever quite got over that," or something like that. THEN, they are showing some group shots of them posing w/ gold albums and getting their star on the Walk of Fame, and the background music is a live performance of Landslide. THEN they show the shot of Stevie, White Album/Rumours era, looking up like she's thinking about something, and then it FADES INTO THE SHOT OF LINDSEY. AHHH, IT IS BEAUTIFUL. His head/face take up the entire screen, and he's facing right (the right of the screen, so it would actually be HIS left), and his hair is GORGEOUS, coal black and shiny ringlets (very nicely coiffed too), his smile is like an UltraBrite commercial, and his eyes are like sparkling shimmering crystals.

[I'm editing this in later] I forgot to say that when they are showing the pic, the narrator is saying something about FM having become a "monstrously successful and hugely influential rock and roll band." It is at that moment that they are showing the picture!

If anyone has this pic or can post screen shots, I'm sure you'll all agree that this is one of the most breathtaking (bearded, afro) Lindsey pics ever!

Javier said in his Q&A that Lindsey wore contacts. I think he still may just based on the fact that he blinks an awful lot and hard contacts make you do that.

Not to take the conversation into a complete left turn, but . . . um, I guess I am.

I have an acquaintance who has epilepsy, probably quite similar to the kind that Lindsey has. In other words, it's "mild" and controlled through medication, she can still drive, etc... She blinks a lot some times and it stems from her epilepsy. Rather than having a seizure, it manifests itself as like a little electrical blip on her radar that causes her to blink several times and can disrupt her train of thought briefly. It seems pretty similar to what I've seen in Lindsey in interviews here and there.

explination for the constant blinking, also for the spans
in his stage speaches when he seems to struggle for his
words.
We tend to forget sometimes that famous people have the same problems that the rest of us suffer from. :(
I hope your friend continues to do well and it stays in
check. :)

That blinking might indeed be from his epilepsy, but the pauses I think are deliberate. When you have a petit mal seizure you do more than pause between words, you total blink out and even if it's just for a second you're like...UH....wha...huh? lol And during guitar solos it would be disastrous! I think Lindsey is lucky enough to have that problem under control.

But you know, I never even really noticed him blinking all that much! lol I guess I'm not very observant. But like Les said, that could very well be epilepsy-related.
