I'm curious about the varying ages of the fans.. I'm only just on 19, and I know that StreetAngel95 is a youngin' too, are there any other 'under 20s' here?

I won't make you all post your real ages :P Just vote in the poll :)

As I said, I'm 19 and half my friends sort of know who Fleetwood Mac are, and then when I mention Stevie Nicks- 95% of them are literally like this  - Seriously, young people these days, SO uneducated in good music!!

31-40 age range here.

It is really cool that younger fans like Stevie/FM's, music. Without sounding too mushy, it does warm the heart knowing that there is a segment of today's youth that knows really good music. (Damn, I just sounded old and like my parents right there), sorry.

But seriously. It is a good feeling knowing that the younger generation "gets it"

Edit: I never want to act "old" after a certain age. Great music is timeless and I think that is why Stevie has aged as gracefully as she can, staying young at heart and just rocking out!

:blob2: I've just gone 18. Got FM Greatest Hits at 12 along with Very Best of CCR. My obsession started that day with the blonde lady that belted out Seven Wonders?? And then my Mum who is just about 38 told me of a "White Witch" called Stevie Nicks(my family are very spritual Stevie isn't a Wiccan neither are they lol).

My life long dream is to meet Stevie Nicks, shes the poet in my heart.. I hope GenY continues her (and the Mac's) music on to the next and so on. Long live the queen of rock!

I'm 35 and started liking Stevie when I was 11 (1985). I was already a fan of Lindsey(since 1984). I didn't know they were both in Fleetwood Mac until I was 12(in 1987). Even then, my friends/classmates thought I was off the wall for liking such an 'old' group. I did meet a few others in high school who liked Fleetwood Mac, but no one else was quite as into them as I was. It's good to see a wide range of ages in the fans. It's great that people aren't forgetting how great this music is!!

Iīm 20.

But I donīt think that this thread reprezents some average age of Fleetwood Mac or Steive fans. Most of fans are old like them, or a little younger. If I looked over that arena in Berlin, where I was last year, I was very very under average age of people there. Here on the net are just activ and big fans, which are always younger, but the most of fans are much older I would say, just their generation.

I loved watching The Sunny and Cher show when I was young and love all their radio hits. The first album I ever owned was the BEN Sountrack by Michael Jackson. Speaking of Cher, do you remember that necklace she would always wear with her name written in it?

Ironically, it's my mum that listens to a combination of good and bad music... I think her primary school students are rubbing off on her, unfortunately...

It was always understood that I'd be able to date when I turned 16 years old. So, when my birthday rolled around that November that very month, both Fleetwood Mac and the Jacksons came to Michigan. My first 2 dates consisted of going to those 2 concerts.

I may have seen a Cher necklace before, but what I remember is the wedding bands that Sonny and Cher had with each other's names on it. Cher said that someone found Sonny's when they were doing construction on a house after he died and offered it to her and she wanted to buy it, but they demanded an exorbitant price and she didn't want to give in to what she considered extortion. I hope she ended up with it.

40's, been a fan since 1977 !! One of many good reason's about growing up in that era was seeing F/Mac Rumour's Tour especially watching Stevie's epic performance of Rhiannon & GDW live from the front row , for me it was incredibly awesome being only 15yrs old at that time, I still cant believe that my parents let me go, maybe I forgot to mention that I WAS going lol.. I remember while standing up the front, there were a lot of joints being passed around, Stevie did something like:thumbsup:
