FULLERTON, Calif. — An unemployed mortgage worker from Southern California had the luck of his life this week: he hit the jackpot twice in two days.

Sean Sanders went to a liquor store in nearby Placentia on Wednesday to pick up a claim form for his $1,400 win from Tuesday night's California Lottery draw.

While there, he checked his Mega Millions ticket — and found he had won an additional $141,519.

The 35-year-old Fullerton resident said that he is currently unemployed and has been working only sporadically since 2007.

Sanders says he will use the money to pay off bills and invest the rest.

There was a recent win where the man took home $88 million AFTER taxes!(Powerball)..
He had been on welfare nearly ALL is life and he gets another free ride!

"Luck" or "Fate" is a strange thing.

One thing is always for sure----life isn't fair.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — A man who works three jobs to support his family — including one as a limousine driver — has won a $39 million jackpot in California's SuperLotto Plus.

Clyde Persley, who is married with a 4-year-old daughter, turned in his winning ticket on Tuesday night and should get his first check for about $16 million in four to six weeks, said a California lottery spokeswoman.

The 49-year-old Santa Cruz man operates candy-making machines for Santa Cruz Nutritionals, drives a limousine and picks up extra hours at a restaurant.

He says his first moves will be taking his wife on a trip to Hawaii and hiring a financial adviser.

He bought his winning ticket at a Santa Cruz market where he has played the lottery twice a week for several years.
