Stevie's retired songs

I read somewhere a while back (cannot remember where :sorry: ) someone made Stevie a cake with tombstones on it for each of her retired songs. Does anyone know what these songs are? I was just curious.

I remember reading about that too. I heard Silver Springs was on it. I thought the cake had songs that were retired, or dropped from the SYW set list.

I seem to remember reading that in the Cory Buckingham tour diaries from the SYW tour. I think it was a cake for Stevie's birthday with little tombstones that had Silver Springs, Destiny Rules & whatever other songs 0f hers had been retired throughout the tour. Maybe (?)

Yeah it does seem like it was songs on the SYW tour now that I think about it. I am just glad Silver Springs wasn't *really* retired! I love that song. :nod:

I agree about SS- one of my favorites!! Best vocal of it has to be on the Dance CD- gives me chills everytime I hear it. I actually prefer it even better than the original vocal, just my opinion. :thumbsup:

I love that version too! That is the song I heard that made me really get into FM and Stevie, it turned my music world around :lol: & they have been my favorites ever since. :)

I agree with you- I remember hearing that version of SS on the radio and thought wow what a vocal! I had only really been a casual fan up until that point, that did it for me as well :D
