ok, I'm confused when Stevie says on the new DVD as you know I don't like to do other people's songs...and then preceeds to sing I think four more...
What does she mean as she doesn't follow through with it...
I was thinking maybe that's the reason Talk to Me and Sometimes It's a Bi**h isn't in the line up.....

I think she should include Sometimes It's A Bitch in her solo set. It's a great rocking song. I know she's not comfortable using the word bitch so instead she could sing, "sometimes I'm a witch" etc.

In her 28 year solo career, she's only done a handful of covers and very few songs written by other people that were given to her. So that is what she's referring to.

You can't always trust what Stevie says to be truth. LOL it's funny how she did quite a few covers when saying that.
Talk to me and SIAB really are hers...I think she really means covers that were recorded before...I need to know, Circle Dance, etc.

Therein lies the beauty, and the true magical mystery of our girl: the ability to blatantly contradict herself, over the course of years or from one sentence to the next, and somehow still seem almost credible. And I'm pretty sure the blatantly-contradict-yourself-bone is directly connected to the total-lack-of-memory-for-timeframes-bone. You'd think someone who chronicles everything in their journals for this many years would be more on top of what happened when (another of her paradoxical qualities). Have you ever noticed how many different years she has said she wrote Landslide in, or how many different years she toured in support of the Wild Heart, or how many different years basically anything she recalls happened in? It's all part or her flaky charm, and not to be questioned by us foolish mortals.

p.s. Is "paradoxical" a word? If yes, am I using it correctly? Or should I send that to the Ask-Stevie forum of the Nicksfix?

That would start off the rumour mill wouldn't it...

Plus, she said recently that she would like to do an album of songs all written by guys, so so much for that comment!

That is how songs are written, stories are told, rumours are started. Go ahead Lily, hit it.
