I plan on going to the Fleetwood Mac concert in Glendale next month and I was wondering what the age restrictions for concerts in America are, if there are any. Does it depend on the venue/concert or are there general age restrictions for concerts? I tried emailing the venue about this, but haven't gotten a reply yet. ... A few days ago I even had to change my hotel because they had a minimum check-in age of 21, so I'm a bit worried. :(

I'm pretty sure theres no age limit for conerts in the US. I went to a concert when I was 9...So yea...lol Unless, its at a casino venue. You can go to the concert you just cant go in the casino area

Well, did you go alone or with a parent? I guess there's a difference. It's the same here. If you go with someone old enough it doesn't really matter how old you are. I'm concerned about this because I'm going to concert alone and it would suck if I didn't get in just because I'm "too young". ... anyway, thanks for the input! :)

I went w/ my parents. But I'm not 21 yet...I have been to concerts with my friends who are not 21 as well.

Oh, I see. And it isn't a problem with venues that sell alcoholic beverages either? Sorry for all the questions.
The venue I'm going to is Jobing.Com Arena in Glendale. Already tried emailing them, but they didn't reply yet.

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine- you're 15, right?

It's all just a bit confusing because I've never to a concert in America before. Anyway, thank you so much! :woohoo:

I'd think it will be ok. I'm 17 - but have always been with the Mom to see Fleetwood Mac/Stevie/Lindsey. They just check your ticket and let you in - I doubt you will have any problems. If so...become friends with an "old" person there and walk in with them. ;)

An "old" person...someone over 21

Usually the only time a concert is 21+ here is if it's being held in a club, but even then, 18+ cuts it in most club venues anyway. You really should be good at 20 :woohoo:

If its at an arena I doubt there is a age restriction.
