I didn't believe that line for a minute "that's all I remember" believe me if Lindsey has started on his guitar, she would have sang the entire song!!

She should have kept singing! Then Lindsey would have to join in or look like a total ass. And of course she knows the song.... you know that her and Lindsey jam on this one... lol well in my own little fantasy world they do... this one and SOTM!

Thanks for that clip- hadn't seen that in a while.
Even though she doesn't post here anymore, I think we should all thank Hayley for shouting "Frozen Love!" in the first place. A few others joined in afterwards and claim it was them who came up with the idea, but, nope.

Im so glad you found this! It was taken down a while back, and was no where to be found. We discussed this AT LENGTH when it happened. Ya, she remembers. Its written all over her face. Stevie is not a good fibber. It kinda is a little heart breaking, Just those few words of a "BUCKINGHAMNICKS" song HAS TO remind them of everything they once had. ~and what u had..., and what u lost~. WOW. I agree, thanks to who ever shouted this to them! and thanks again for posting:thumbsup: even that little bit was Heaven:angel:

I had heard the audio but never seen the clip before, so thank you so much for posting! Lindsey doesn't look too pleased with her, does he?

He was fine and wonderful and gracious with her. In fact, I thought he was about to attempt the intro but then Mama said "That's all I remember." She was very careful to make sure this was Lindsey's night.

Really? Maybe it's just my impression from not having watched the entire soundstage, but he has such a strange look on his face in that clip. It could very well just be surprise, though

Thanks for that--I hadn't seen it before. I realize the possibility of Stevie and Lindsey reuniting for a Buckingham Nicks tour is non-existant--even re-releasing the album , but I would pay a ton of money to see it. I love the Buckingham Nicks stuff!

That's the vibe I get off of it too, gossamer wings... Also, I get the feeling they are perfectionists and wouldn't really attempt anything off the cuff like that normally - especially FL - unless they had rehearsed it a lot.

I wasn't there, but I think Lindsey would have played at least a few chords...
Stevie was ready for it...but I don't know, they just seemed so lovingly shy...

I think they didn't do it because well first they didn't rehearse it and second probably because Lindsey's wife was there and I think its probably a special emotional song to both Stevie and Lindsey about their love.

I don't know if they were doing it lovingly or not, but they were being awfully polite to one another. For instance, when they debated whether or not to do the song over, they were, "do you think we should?"
"I don't know, do you think we should?"
"I'm not sure, what do you think?"
It had the potential to be nauseating, especially when you know they were going to do all the songs twice in the first place. So, I think it was somewhat just for show. Made me laugh.

Nothing against Stevie (or Lindsey, for that matter), but do you think they, at that moment, would have even been able to remember & recall all of the lyrics/music for the song? (or even enough just to do the first verse & the chorus?)

I remember when Cory kept the SYW tour journal and she said that Stevie sang Storms for them over the walkie talkie. I was surprised that Stevie knew the words to that song then.

I really love this ! I think Lindsey didn't want to sing it, so Stevie lied and said that's all she knew, but I think we all knew SHE KNEW the words haha. I think she stopped because it was his night, and she didn't want to take that away from him.. It's just my observation.

I agree with you. It was Lindsey's night. Stevie refers to her songs as her children. There's no way she forgot her children, especially the ones that made it onto an album--her (okay, their) first. She even remembers a good chunk of the song she wrote when she was 16, "I've Loved And I've Lost." We may get to hear Frozen Love live one day.

No. ITA with you. Sure they'd probably remember a good chunk of it,. but not well enough to get every lyric, every note, every harmony right on the first try.

I have a feeling that Storms was a maybe when they initially debated the SYW setlist - perhaps BC won out.
I don't think it's totally far-fetched that we might hear Frozen Love in the future. But I think if they DO perform it, it will be on a BN tour to support releasing the album on CD. I think they'll save it - look how it paid off to save SS for The Dance.
