Ever see a lot of reissues in the bargain bin of this period? They're usually of a 1968 London that had "My Baby's Sweet" and "My Baby's a Good 'Un" (where I got my user name), or one in Boston. I've also seen them of the studio tracks, such as "Albatross" and "Black Magic Woman". I saw one at the store, but I didn't think to get it. I did find a couple LPs at one store I like. The live one I found says in the liner notes saying this is a surprise to those used to the Rumours lineup (go fig!). It gives a synopsis of the history.

I found my copy of "PG's FM", "Pious Bird of Good Omen" and "English Rose" as Korean or Japanese imports at the local record store. I was able to get a copy of "Mr Wonderful" in London in 2000 when I was there on my honeymoon, along with a couple other little jems.
My wife endulged my classic FM passion by buying me the complete Blue Horizon sessions box set with all the studio outtakes on each cd. It's not one you want to listen to in the car, but to sit and listen to in the house it's pretty cool.

There was a FYE store (went out of business two months ago) that had an out-of-print "Vaudeville Years" used for under $20 (great condition) and "Live in London '68" for $5.25. If you look up Vaudeville Years at Amazon.com, I consider myself lucky. Just as with Live in Boston Vol. 3, it's a mystery why Vaudeville would now be out of print.

It makes me wonder who pays the ridiculous amounts of money that some sellers on Amazon ask for. I wonder even more when there are sellers who are asking maybe $20 for a new album and others asking $120 for a used copy of the same album.
Vaudeville Years is listed on Amazon between $46.95 and $244.92. I wonder which one I should buy?

Uh ... nobody does. Some internet sellers are just clueless. They have an item that no one else has listed, so they think they can get $200 for it. Then somebody else comes along with the item AND an idea of what it's actually worth, and it gets listed for $15.
