These are fabulous fotos! Being a typically shoe crazy female, I love to see the ones where Stevie is wearing different types of boots and shoes.

The very first picture made me smile. It's special to me because the outfit Christine is wearing hangs in my closet. :nod:

No i'm not ..Stevie actually looked exactaly like that pic in the first shows of the BTM tour .I had second row seats at Irvine and good seats at SDSU (my alma mater) for that tour..by the final show at the Forum in December though she had gained some serious weight.and that is certainly Billy in the pic .

I don't think it is. Stevie was thinner at the beginning of that tour when I saw them, but her hair was much longer and bigger. She did wear a short skirt, but more of a corset and it had poofy shoulders. Plus you can see John in the background. He didn't have nearly that much hair during Behind the Mask, and what he did have was gray, plus he was heavier than he is in that pic. I'd guess it's pre tango.

I don't think so. I do remember being shocked when I saw them in 1990. She came out in a mini skirt and I couldn't believe it. She was thinner than I had ever seen her live, but she looked like she was laced up tight in her corset so that if she sneezed the thing would have burst off of her. I think that pic was taken around the same time as this one

According to the site I got it from, it was a charity concert in 1983. I know that Billy played with Micks early version of The Zoo back then, so that would explain his appearance.

It's been a while since I've watched my tapes and DVD's.

I know that Stevie was thin and wear miniskirts during beginning of BTM tour, but that photo... wouldn´t say that it´s from 1990. I read somewhere, that it´s from some concert in 1983, where Lindesy was replaced by Billy, only Billy! And I would believe that more, than that´s from 1990. Billy had more longer hair during BTM tour and John had less hair.

And simply, I don´t feel that 1990s atmosphere :). It really looks like in the beginning of 80s, not 1990. Stevie had more makeup after 1986.. etc.

I don't think John was an official member of the Zoo, but he probably played with them a few times, as did Stevie. The event the picture in question is from was called "Rock and Run" and was held at UCLA in 1983. This is what Billy said regarding meeting Stevie for the first time in his Q&A on the Penguin:

"I met Stevie at a concert with The Zoo at UCLA. I had known the rest of the band quite well. One night Stevie called me to go to the studio and sing on the first song her grandfather had taught her. "

Wow I don't recall that concert at all! and I was living in socal at the time.I guess I should be not assesing photos at 2 am after my third glass of Napa cab.:D
