I found my "blue lamp" at a local antique mall. I lusted after it for a couple of months because it was a couple of hundred bucks, but I love it sooo much. The damned thing weighs as much as a small car too  . I'll post the only pic I have of it at work. For the right price, I might be willing to part with it (probably not though LOL!). It's much bluer than the picture shows... it's VERY Stevie :woohoo: .

Stevie's lamps are original Tifanny design, and they are way too expensive for us "regular folk" but just Google "Tiffany-style lamps" and you'll find lots of sites with affordable options.

These aren't glass lamps, but they are very Stevie-esque
(and they are made by a fellow Ledgie).

Overstock.com has an entire section of 'tiffany-style' lamps, even though they aren't the 'real' deal they are still quite beautiful.

We all know how Stevie can get her stories mixed up and all. But I found it hard to believe she would tell the whole world that her "Blue Lamp" was a Tiffany. LOL...Poor Stevie....The "Blue Lamp" is not a Tiffany lamp by any means. The Blue Lamp was made by the Frankel Light Company, out of Cleveland, OH during the 1910's through the 1930's. I have searched high and low for a true "blue lamp" and I have found a few. Granted, I have never found a royal cobalt blue glass lamp, but I found a purple one. There was also a green one on Ebay not to long ago! They usually sell at an auction house for 300-400 dollars, but have sold on Ebay for around 800-900 dollars. But, sorry Stevie...the "blue Lamp" is not a Tiffany! :distress:

Thanks for the info.

The way Barbara was always trying to get Stevie to conserve money, I don't think she would buy her a Tiffany lamp.

Interesting development! Also, has the base to Stevie's lamp always been purple? I've been searching through pictures, and that one above is the only one I've seen where it's actually lit. Kinda tacky to be purple on bottom, blue on top... :sorry:

I'm pretty sure Stevie's "Frankel" blue lamp has both blue slag glass for the base as well as the top. What is very interesting is that, you can replace the blue slag glass with any other color of glass. This is what I intend to do when I find my "Frankel" lamp. You can take the slag glass panels to any slag glass maker and they can make any color you want! Of course, mine will be the Cobalt Blue! Also, if you put a different colored light bulb in the lamp, you can get a different color effect with the glass....if instance, blue glass and red light makes purple!

I wonder why Stevie says it's a Tiffany? LOL I guess we'll never know!

So this new twist has fascinated me. I've been searching around online for Frankel lamps, but have come up dry. Do any of y'all have any links to the company's history or anything? I'm a big nerd... when there's something new I don't know about, I have to research it :o .

Try this gentleman, he is an antique collector and may have more information on the Frankel "Stevie" lamps!
