I saw Andy Gibb in concert. We had front row. I believe I was in 3rd grade. I stuffed my training bra for the occasion.

Do you like anything modern, David? :pCourse I do!

Currently I am grooving to Esmee Denters covering the sizzling Stevie Wonder classic "As Always":

David you forgot my ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE song of his: OUR LOVE(DONT THROW IT ALL AWAY):nod:

He is one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen now or in the past. Absolutely gorgeous!

Thanks, David for posting those beautiful videos. I am a Gibb fan. Love their music.

Hard to believe if Andy had lived, he'd be 51 years old in March. Such a sad loss for fans and to the music industry. He was a very talented songwriter, singer and actor. My grown daughters still remember Andy guest starring on the "Punky Brewster" show. That was one of their favorite shows while in grade school.

Ah... Shadow Dancing was my first LP evah! I still remember it vividly, especially the back cover. Three words: Tight. Satin. Pants.

I remember my sister Robin getting the '45 of 'Shadow Dancing'. I liked him, it was fun music. And, it totally fit into that whole pop/disco scene. And he looked great in those tight satin pants, LOL.

Poignant memory. VH-1 interviewed Victoria Principle about her affair with Andy and said something like

"I told him he had to choose either me, or drugs. And he chose the drugs."

That gave me a little shiver.

!

I completely agree, and the Bee Gees tribute in One Night Only sounds beautiful, specially when Andy's voice (and home videos) joins them. it's their tribute to Andy

OMG - I just saw this post! I saw Andy too in Pittsburgh, PA when I was 12- June of 1978. He was incredible! I just loved him and still have all his stuff on CD/Ipod. So sad he passed away.

David, I LOVE the old stuff too :-)

I love that video footage they always show of him dancing around with the Bee Gees around 1978-79 or so. It's during You Should Be Dancin and it's kind of mindblowing to think of all four of them up there, dancing and being crazy famous and successful. I really wish I could have seen them back then!

I love that footage of "You should be dancing" such a great video. I have to say, I feel so happy I was able to see them in their day. They were the "THING" back then when I was a pre-teen. What memories- I still love Andy. They just don't make them like this anymore. BTW, my mom was listening to Rumours while I was listening to Andy - LOL! (but I still liked Rumours too!)
