Backstage photos from TISL, SYW,...?

Does anyone have backstage photos of Stevie from the recent FM/solo tours to share? I've seen some from the tours in the 70s and 80s, but never newer ones. :confused: Thanks in advance.

Actual backstage pics are difficult but there are plenty of pics from meet & greets at the concerts.

I love, love, love that one with the girl with the tambourine and Lindsey's Bride hair!

The background reminds me of one of those cheap portrait studios you find at the Wal-Mart, and the way everyone is sort of haphazardly jammed in there suggests the Wal-Mart portrait-taker was also hitting the sauce on break.

If I ever get lucky enough to have a photo with the Mac, I would want it to look just like that. I would even spring for the extra 11x13 for $5.00 of the alternate shot of Lindsey in the metal washtub with the rubber duck and a towel on his head.

No- the SYW "meet & greets" (more like posing with a Madame Tussauds replication of the Mac) were venue/record label people, contest winners, other VIP's, etc.

I'm going to assume that Mick's meet & greets on this tour will be more amiable, and will involve more than 5-6 words total exchanged with him (if only because you're paying him). Plus, Mick is far more personable than the others, at least in the framework of when the others are also forced to be in the room (Lindsey- petulant sourpuss, Stevie- on autopilot, not "there", John- his usual quiet self)

Remember in the Tusk photo shoot video when the photographer suggests that John take his hair out of the ponytail? He wasn't interested in doing that. I think he heard exactly what was said, but he pretended not to.

Oh, man. At one point John is nuzzling Stevie's neck and Chris says something like, "that should be me." And the photographer says something to Stevie about having the two men (Mick and John) all over her -- "work those men" -- and Stevie just SCREAMS. Some of them are drunk. Some of them are high. Some of them are both.

Anyway, John picks Stevie up and carries her off to the little gazebo and you can actually see that part of it in one of the Tusk photos. It's amazing to me how it all came together. They were posed, yes. They got direction and suggestions on how to stand or how to arrange their hair (Chris' hair was too flat and she was told to fluff it up, which Stevie and Lindsey tried to help her do), but actually they got to play around a lot too. It was structured spontaneity.

Consequently, the pictures seem like the result of them being their kooky selves. I loved that.

Lindsey doesn't always look like that in M&G photos, though. He looks like he's happy in MyLittleDemon's signature photo, and I've seen a few other signature photos that he looks happy in, but I can't recall screen names at the moment.

Its not just a thing about taking pictures- he was an ass during the entire meet & greet process, night after night. It doesn't matter whether they are the promoter cutting his check, the venue GM, his record label VP, or his "biggest fan".

Certainly, even in these silly photos, Lindsey doesn't look like he's being a jerk. He looks like he's being a class clown. I've heard many wonderful fan stories about how great he was to fans who made contact with him during the SYW tour.

That Tusk photo shoot is a bootleg. I don't know who did the filming, but it wasn't professional and it wasn't continuous either. We didn't get the whole thing by any stretch. People have traded it around for years. The quality of it is is not great, due to the fact that people have passed around copies of copies.

No offense meant to any nationality...but I thought that photo was a woman (in a cultural costume ?) and she gave Stevie a "cultural costume prop" to hold. (Infact, whoever it is...he/she is a long lost identical twin for my neighbor named Deb.)
