Oh well. Back to gawking at my Photobucket.

Actually, I think it's stunning. I wish I could afford to get one. I'll be surprised if there is strong criticism for this. Well, I won't be surprised but I will disagree.

A third of the pics I really like, a third I really don't and I'm just neutral on the remainder.

I really like the behind-the-scenes/working in the studio shots of her. And the one with Robin is great.

I'm going to go out on a limb here & say that the front cover photo (part of a series, I know) was not shot in 1985 but in 1984. Nicks did have the "rocking-in-the-cradle" motif already mapped out by then (she even talked about it on the "Women In Rock" MTV interviews), & she (& her body) look like an '84 Stevie, not an '85 Stevie.

Thanks, Liam!!! I'm rather unimpressed. Since I spent most of my cash on those CDs, (I got Mirage, the final, in the mail today!) I haven't had a chance to get the calender. I'm not sure if I will. I got a horse calender for Christmas, anyways.

January and May is he kidding?

The rest are actually much better than what I was expecting from him, have never been a big fan of his work with some exceptions.

The last one is very nice indeed.

I wonder if Stevie is even aware that Herbie is trolling through her negatives and putting out some spectacularly unflattering shots, e.g., the more-chins-than-a-Chinatown-phone-book image he used for October. Yes, these are interesting in a kind of morbidly curious way, but I can see why these photos never saw the light of day... that is, until Herbie needed to pay off his weed dealer.

Belissima!

This is one of my very favorite photo shoots, even though we have seen so few shots from it. To know that they must be all somewhere in clear color like this - give me all of them!

Thanks for posting the pics. but this guy represents these calendars as "never before seen photos." This is an untruth. i have seen every one of these pictures, as well as ALL his other calendars , on the internet. He is a wondeful photographer and yes the pics are beautiful, but i can not beleive what he is asking for this calendar w/pictures that are like 20 plus years old. He must be in kahoots w/Chris Nicks who is selling Bella Donna T-Shirts (1981 concert) for $65!! No thanks Mr. Worthington, I will make my own calendar from pics off the internet.

Interesting, I just noticed that on Herbert's sample photo of the calendar, there are a couple of changes made to the final product. It looks like the crystal ball shot started out as a color one and he must have decided to change it to blank and white and I don't see the other shot included anywhere (unless I'm missing it):

Well some of them are outtakes from various sessions. The in the studio photos have been published I think in the Enchanted booklet. The first one (Jan) I really think its a RAL studio outtake photo....the other one thats in the Enchanted booklet (b & w) isn't it almost or the same photo? If not its pretty close. Isn't it ealier maybe BD? Hard to tell even to me sometimes. My favorite is probably the November photo that I've not ever seen (except for the wonderful blue beret hat Stevie has worn alot esp in the Blue Lamp photo sessions photos) ......I do like it I only wish it was a full shot from head to toe /color like it is and Stevie was facing us instead of turned & not facing us. I'd LOVE to see more Blue Lamp photos esp since we've all seen the photo shoot from the CV dvd.....of course that isn't the whole video (since she took much more video than we even saw...heck theres the front cover video we don't have either....sad but true.)......Its an ok calender. I never even bought last yrs yet or any of the posters either. I just haven't wanted to spend the $$ right now. I do have the 'original' 85 calender which I'd gotten along time ago (from him in the '90's) & the first 'new' calender he'd put out just not last yrs or this yrs yet anyway.....maybe sometime I will.
I still like color photos better than b & w's plus some full shots would be cool too. I don't mind the RAL ones I do like the cover but I'd love more BD/WH outtakes and different SA one's too or Mirror photos.....from some sessions we not EVER seen.........as well I'm sure they exsist ......a Blue Lamp poster would be cool or heck even a college type poster .....like a through the years type I'd so love ....it could be a large poster too....ya know the 24 X 36 kind. With color & b/w shots on it. I have this Rumours convention poster that I so love (I think it was for the '88 convention? though I wasn't at it.....) anyone that has this poster knows how cool it is. Plus I have these postcards too that are some of the same photos used in this poster. I'd say the pictures range in yrs from '77-83 at least all are color photos. Its really nice. He could do a poster for photos from 75-79 than one from 80-87 (for Fmac photos) and than solo Stevie he could do 80-89 or divide them by LP too BD/WH than one for RAl /Mirror or all yrs together.....same for SA etc.....just some ideas....so many options......imagation is all it takes....well and $$ too......I was just thinking of other ways for more photos to be released.....Of course the book idea would be nice but those you can't hang on the wall......IMO anyway....

I too am a 30 plus year Stevie fan. But unless you have been under a rock most of these pictures are easy to find on the internet.
January-Wild Heart Torbook
February-Rock A little promo photo
March-Wild Heart Tourbook but zoomed out
April-Rock Alittle promo photo
May-Wild Heart Tourbook
June-Never before seen but i did see a similar one - same outfit for Mirage promo
July-Rock A little promo photo
August-Wild Heart Tourbook
September-Rock A Little Tourbook
October-Wild Hear Tourbook
November-Never before seen
December-Bella Donna promo photo

Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Worthington's work. I just think "never before seen" is a little misleading. If he sales pitched "outtakes from photo shoots from Rock Alittle/Wild Heart era," there would be no reason feel dissappointed. Google Images can get you to a lot of nice pictures to download.

You're completely wrong jrpjr. For instance, I have The Wild Heart tourbook in front of me and the January, March, May, August and October photos are not in that tourbook, like you said. The September photo is in the Street Angel tourbook and January and May are in the booklet for the Enchanted box set booklet, but in my many years of fandom I've never seen the others.
I agree these calendars are overpriced but aside from three photos I've never seen them any where before on the internet, many from the same photo shoots, yes, but never these particular shots.

I stand corrected. I do not have the WH Tourbook in front of me to confirm. I thought I was right but I guess I was wrong. My appologies. I do have all the tourbooks buried (in deep a solid piece of armour) in my attic. If ever I dig them out I will revisit this. Thanks for settin' me straight. Have a good 2009!

Hey Sharon..

Absolutely agreed! Altho they may look "similar" to other pictures, these pictures he put into the calendar, with the exception of the one picture I've seen, are all totally rare and "unreleased".. I SOOO am glad I got it, and it's definitely worth the money! As Steviefan59 mentioned, we sure don't have any other Stevie/FM photographers coming forward with Calendars! It's definitely something to think about! :wavey:

In some cases I think the photos qualify as "never before seen" because they are untouched (in some cases!). Others look similar but are just from the same sessions that produced released photos. If you've ever seen a role from a photo shoot you will seen tons of shots that look identical but maybe with minor difference (color etc). Not EVERY single shot taken at a session is a different pose. He may take three or four shots of the same pose and only release one of them.
