Oh, I used to get those catalogs in high school. Pretty stuff.

Ha- I actually got my wedding dress from that catalog eight years ago. :) It was lovely, actually. Very simple and under $200. :)

I posted this because I know that many of you like to purchase Stevie style clothing and such. And I also recall the Bear Shepherd fiasco:eek:.

One item I will forever be after is the crescent moon pendant. I found it on Camia's, but too expensive for me (at least for now).

I bought mine from Barb: http://stores.enchantedmirror.com/StoreFront.bok

Actually, my husband bought it for me several years ago and I love it.

The Bear Shepard "fiasco" was apparently about ordering and paying for custom made Stevie stuff and then not receiving it. Someone on this board went through a bad time with this person.

I have the moon pendant in both silver and gold and I got mine from Camia's. I've also collected various other moon pendants over the years too--I like anything with a celestial theme.

Oh cool, on the silver moon pendant! Do you know, is that sterling silver? I'm also after one! I'm trying to get one from another friend, who had Destiny Galleria too..

Hugs,

Arlene

I have one of the silver ones, and yes - it's sterling. It's lovely, highly recommend it. I've had it for a little less than a year now, and it hasn't tarnished at all. I got my sister one at the same time (Her name is Kelly like the artist's, so when she saw the back which has the artist's name engraved in it, she was like, "Aw, you got it engraved for me!" and I had to be like, "Uh, no..." Haha.)

I wear mine just about every day - the moon on one chain, and these awesome little glass tile "Rhiannon" song lyric pendants I got from someone on Etsy on a longer chain. All hail beautiful handmade jewelry! :D

Please do post real-life pics of the moon pendants if you ever feel like it!

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses through "The Pyramid Collection" catalog (I had a Renaissance themed wedding) and they were just beautiful...I love that catalog!!! I have both a gold and silver moon pendant from Camias Designs. Kelly does great work -- I highly recommend her to anyone out there who wants a moon pendant! I'm even the "model" for them on her website...LOL! I get lots of compliments on my moons. ;)

"...and the lady's feeling like the moon that she loved...don't you know that the stars are a part of us..."

Do it! It's worth it. I snapped a pic of mine for you and Remy a couple of minutes ago:

It's much shinier in real life, but I had to darken the pic so it would show up properly. Also, I am pale like zee fish, which doesn't help.

I usually wear it on the shorter chain with my Rhiannon pendants on the longer one, but went for this combo today - the moon always stays, because I love it so much, and the others get changed around.

It's got two bails on the back, so I can wear it facing either way, and sometimes I will thread the chain through both bails so the moon lays down.

You're welcome - like Haunted Song, I get a ton of compliments and comments on mine, and so does my sister. You wouldn't think such a simple thing as a silver crescent moon would attract so much attention, but there you go.

The other one there is not a Camias piece - it's a 2 inch moonstone set in silver. The back of the moonstone is left open, so when the light hits it, it looks REALLY cool. I have a moon problem, I think.

I wish I knew how to make jewelry, because I have a design I sketched out for a Rhiannon necklace, with the three birds, and other stuff.

Okay, if you have it uploaded to a site like photobucket, then you can click the icon in the message-writing area that looks like a yellow box with two mountains in it. Then you put the url in there, and all good.

If it's not uploaded somewhere, click the paperclip icon and attach it. That should work. :wavey:
