Well, I wanted to vote for Beauty and the Beast, but just because Stevie has turned me off of the tune since she started doing it in Vegas, that can't obscure the fact that I loved the song when the album was released. Even in live performances now, I shouldn't let the visual sour me on the vocals: but it does.

I voted for Nightbird and I like that song too. I just like it less than the others.

Oh, it's nothing particular about the Vegas show. It's just that's when she started performing it that way. I'm sure you've seen the video.

She's using the Jean Cocteau film in the background (please tell me the licensing rights have expired) which may match the lyrics, but doesn't match the song for me and she's wearing a get up that I cannot stomach. To me, it looks like she's dressed for an SNL skit. I believe Amy Poehler studies it nightly for tips. However, some people are quite moved by the whole thing.

I liked the outfit THE FIRST TIME i saw it in Vegas. It was different and fit in with the Vegas schmaltz. But then when I saw it on her on the raod I started to detest it.
