wow! also the song is a different version. Loveeeeeee that blue dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Complex choreography by Stevie and her 'dancers'. Mind-blowing. 'take one step left, and one step right, now walk to the front, turn, and walk back'. did Bob Fosse work on this? :P
thanks for the vid!

Bahahaha. But I love the 'dancing'! And the moves in 'I Can't Wait' are similarly advanced
More Stevie shuffling I say!

T - T - T talk to meeeee! I just love this song and video. Brings me right back to 1985.
:-) Thanks for posting. This is her best solo video. She looks fantastic, and when she smiles I smile too.
TTM has such a catchy hook I can see why it reached #5 on the singles chart. It is a real shame that she does not put this in the set. I would imagine that it suits her current voice well too.
I am in a cafe listening to it with the earbuds in and I almost blurted out load TALK TO ME. Now that would have been hilarious.

She looks spectacular in that dress. I always wished they used more of it in the video.

I love it, too. A little of the ol' soft shoe...er...platform boot.
Other favorite Stevie 80s dance interludes:
- During "Blue Letter" on the Mirage concert recording
- During the SNL "Stand Back"

I mentioned something about an alternate TTM video awhile back. I think the alternate version is much better than the one on Crystal Visions DVD.

Oops, how could I forget Stevie Does Riverdance? My bad. ;)
I particularly enjoy the hurling of the tambourine in that one.

Seriously? I am so jealous.

Seriously? I am so jealous.Don't be. It sucked. Everything your mind, your soul, & your spirit crave is ably & fully given in the music of Bach & Beethoven, & perhaps Palestrina & several others.
John Stewart (as you probably know) opened all those shows, & on opening night, I think, in L.A. fans were pretty restless for Stevie Nicks & John was very good about it. He joked around a lot & he quipped that Stevie would be flying in on her broomstick any moment now. Nobody knew what she was going to sing. There was a very active fan contingent all over the country even back then, & we traded concert tapes & tape lists (with mimeographed photos from our collections on them), but because the tour was over practically before it started, information didn't have a chance to circulate. Most fans in Los Angeles actually thought that Stevie would not sing any Fleetwood Mac songs. We argued & we placed bets. I argued on the phone with a fan named Jennifer Perkins. Most people actually thought that Stevie would not perform all the famous songs she wrote with Fleetwood Mac. Huge ignorance on everyone's part, but it wasn't anyone's fault because this was the very first time Stevie Nicks was doing this. (I think some people thought it would be the last time she was doing this, too.)

You forgot Paganini, chief. For shame.

So it sucked because y'all didn't know what to expect, or because she was off...or...? Was everyone all disgruntled when she busted out Gold Dust Woman?
Reading interviews, I know Stevie was pretty freaked out about doing a solo tour, so I imagine she threw in the Mac songs because she was comfortable with those, and they ARE good songs. Also there's that thing she goes on about where fans don't want to hear new stuff...
Was the setlist the same as the HBO special pretty much the whole way through?
More importantly, did you win your bets?
I'm so nosy!
You & me both, pal.
Don't worry - I will send you a powdered wig if it will make you feel better. :distress:
