Fleetwood Mac
Kulttuuritalo,
Helsinki, Finland
September 24,1969

FM? > Cassette > CDR > EAC > FLAC

A very old show has just popped up! Probably the oldest F-Mac I have ever seen!
This one is from a FM source (I think). There’s also other tape-sourced CDRs from
Fleetwood Mac in Helsinki with more tracks, but they’re much worse in quality. This
source is easily the best I’ve heard, some problems with the tape, but nothing serious.

The band is tight and Peter Green is stunning for instance on Got A Mind To Give Up
Living. Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer have their special moments, too.

The sound is very good from that period.

Setlist:
1. Homework
2. Man Of The World,
3. Like It This Way,
4. Only You,
5. I Believe My Time Ain't Long,
6. Stranger Blues,
7. Got A Mind To Give Up Living,
8. Oh Well,
9. Comin' Your Way,
10. Albatross,
11. Great Balls Of Fire

43 min (A- )

Peter Green - Guitar, Vocals
Jeremy Spencer - Guitar, Piano, Vocals
Danny Kirwan _ Guitar, Vocals
John McVie - Bass
Mick Fleetwood - Drums

The comments are all from the original post.

Thanks for 77Rumours77 for seeding this early show in 2005.

Enjoy

Looks like it's been banned owing to lossiness... anyone have alternate ideas?

Stupid question perhaps, but how does one know that a torrent has been banned? Does it just disappear, or can one read it somewhere (and if so, where...)?

It appears to disappear from normal search. If you should click on estranged4life's link, you can still get to the page, but the torrent is no longer available for download . At the bottom of the page "system" has posted a comment explaining why it has been banned. :(

AHA!

This bootleg appears the same that has just been posted at Thrown Down.net, the comprehensive Fleetwood Mac bootleg bit torrent site, where I downloaded it successfully (apparently without lossiness).

I believe those who have not already done so will first have to register through the main page at

If it's the same show that was posted on DIME and it was banned there because it's lossy... why would the show's condition be any different if it's posted on Throwndown - other then the fact that they won't ban it for being lossy?

They apparently only post lossless recordings... other than that this is where my limited mp3 technical expertise will become prominent. :(

Thanks, whether lossy or not Q was better than my copies...
