I like the first picture, there are also some pictures of her and Jimmy Iovine at the event.
Umm, what's up with the gloves? Those are big gloves? Think she might be hiding something in there?

She's been wearing those gloves when she performs lately and it pisses me off. They are so ugly.

I agree, very tacky. And we have been having HOT weather here (90ºF) so it's not the weather.
But alas, I think she hides her hands as hands are a dead giveaway of your age.

Wrap her in velvet!
So, maybe since her band was together for this performance, that's why she decided to make a quick stop in Michigan too. Why put that rehearsing to waste.

I want to burn those gloves.

I kinda like the gloves too, really. ;)
At least I don't see what people think is so hideously awful about them. Each their own, though.

FINE. Be that way.
I think they go with the dresses she wears them with, and they're multi-functional - my sister commented on them during the Edge walk at the show she went to with me, and I said if I had to skitter across the stage and shake hands with the Great Unwashed, I'd want something covering my hands, too - since hospital gloves don't go with chiffon, black leather opera gloves are a good compromise. ;)
Am I the only one that likes the gloves?
More leather, less lace. That's the way I like it.

Remember, we need good bacteria and bad bacteria in our lives. I wonder what these presidential candidates do as they shake thousands and thousands of hands.
Stock in Purell (Hand Sanitizer) may be a good investment.

Stevie Nicks and Jimmy Iovine opened the presentation to Morris. Nicks recalled a childhood friend who received treatment for leukemia at City of Hope; during the course of treatment the woman realized she was pregnant. "[City of Hope] said to my beautiful friend 'What can we do for you?'" Nicks said. "And she said 'Keep me alive long enough to have this baby.' And they did."
Nicks worked closely with Morris during this trying time in her life and graciously remembered his support. "He listened to me cry on the phone when Robin was dying," she said. "And he made it OK. He made it all OK. That's who our Doug is."

I am not ridiculously germ phobic or anything (my children prevent this), but I don't have to shake the hands of tons of folks that may or may not wash their hands after visiting the bathroom, either, sooooo....yeah. Purell. Oh yeah.

I don't like to shake hands. In fact, it almost feels like an imposition to me these days. Sales people do it to be polite, but I'm thinking, "Can't ya just wave?"
Still, Stevie could wear something other than long, hot leather gloves. Also, I think it's funny that she goes over and touches the back up singers with those same gloves, after they've been rubbed all over the masses.

What Stevie Says When Hugging Sharon After the Edge Walk: Good job! I love you!
What Stevie Thinks When Hugging Sharon After the Edge Walk: Your mic was up way too loud again and I noticed that the resulting caterwauling knocked the entire front row unconscious for the second half of the set. I know it was probably the sound guy's fault, but you're right here and he's not, so have some e. coli."

lol, I always tell people: I hope I rock half that hard when I'm 60.
I have to aim for the rocking part since I'm 26 now and already missed the boat on the looking that good part about 8 years ago. Oops.

Bingo, I think the age thing is the reason she wears them.
Get ready to throw your tomatoes..... but I think these pictures
are terrible! Makes me sad.
I think she's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, and
as recently as her Soundstage performance I thought she was gorgeous,
but?????

Naw, you're not wrong. They're not the greatest shots of her. Photographer picked some inopportune moments to click the button, methinks.
She looked breathtaking on Soundstage, but I bet if a photographer just clicked away randomly during that show, we'd end up with at least a few shots of her making a weird face then, too, y'know?

Though she naturally is a beautiful and photogenic woman, the entire Soundstage was shot in optimum lighting and angle, with a camera with a golden filter, and went through post production in a digital medium. As a friend of mine in the business you to say "honey, they put all the vaseline in Walgreen's on the lens when they shot her"
Also, La Nicks appears to have been several pounds lighter for Soundstage, though the camera and lighting could have played tricks there too.
So, I think you are correct in that in these candid shots, she does not look as good as she did in the Soundstage shots. I still think that for a woman of 60, she look great and better than most if not all.
As for the gloves, gloves of any material would hide her hands. Moreover, she does not wear them or hide her hands for the whole concert. So, I do not think it is an age thing.
I think it is far more likely it is a germ thing because she has gotten sick on the road before. I guess she figures why take the chance. I really don't blame her for that. I do blame her, however, for choosing those horrid gloves. I suppose a leather apron is next

The gloves are pretty strange, because she not only puts them on in anticipation of the Edge Walk, she'll slip them on at other odd times during the concert, when she's not planning on touching anyone.
It's not age, bec ause we see her hands ZILLIONS of times and they aren't wrinkled or laden with liver spots. She could still do one of those dishwashing liquid commercials with those paws. I don't know what the deal with the heavy gloves is. I think maybe she murdered someone and every once in a while a tell tale mark breaks out on her palm and she has to cover it real quick.

You are dead on about that. I had a big group of friends over the night Stevie's Soundstage aired, and everyone kept asking what year the show was taped. My friends absolutely were blown away that it was a new performance, and that she was 60. They just couldn't believe how amazing she looked, and most flatly refused to believe she was 60. Until my ever vigilant friend Scott said "look at her hands... that's the only way you can tell her age." He was right... she may not have the face of a 60 year old woman, but she does have the hands! All my buds also seemed to think she's had a nip and tuck done since The Dance. The more I think about it, the more I wonder. Look at her eyes... they look like they did in the mid-late 70s... they haven't looked at way in many years, and look at her jaw line... she didn't look this good 10 years ago. Who really knows or cares though... the woman simply looks amazing! :p

I personally think that she had an eye lift and a lower face lift in either 2006 or 2007.

I think she's had something done too... don't know when, can't put my finger on it and can't really put my finger on what she's done... whatever it was it's very slight, nothing major. She's admitted to botox once, so if she did that, I'm sure she's open to a little tuck here and there, which is fine, at least she still looks like herself...
Plus, keeping a few extra pounds on does an older person some good... thin older people tend to show the signs of age more, I think.
Oh, and apparently the neck area is a give away to age too... I heard you can lift a face, but you can't really do anything with a neck.

i know exactly when she had something done....2003 right before say you will came out. I remember watching one tv interview and it looked like a really bad recent facelift...that might have been corrected after. She looks great right now, but usually on women you can tell the age by the hands and the neck.

I think that's when she had her botox incident... where she was botoxed within an inch of her life  . But of course, that's just my speculation. I actually think she's looking better today than she did in 2003  .
