It seems like older bands such as rush and aerosmith are developing a new fanbase because of the games ''guitar hero'' and ''rockband''. And from what i understand more older bands are finding new life thru the games, so my question is could it be possible that stevie and f. mac will be as popular as they once were because of the gamers out there that might not have heard of edge of 17 or go your own way? Me personally..i'd love to see it. If stevie looks AND SOUNDS this great at 60 i can't
imagine what the next 20 years could bring. Think about it..fleetwood mac OUTLASTING the rolling stones...yeah yeah i know...but one can dream.

No.

Go Your Own Wayand Edge both get tremendous airplay on the radio even today. The Deep Dish version of Dreams continues to be a gay nightclub staple. Younger acts like Vanessa Carlton, Sheryl Crow and Tori Amos all cite Stevie/FM as an inspiration.

Young people hear the songs, and the names. But FM is still nowhere near the mammoth of popularity they were in the 70s/80s. So a few tracks on Rock Band or going to change that? I really doubt that. The fact is, these people are 60. And the music industry, and American culture in general, is youth-oriented. We just hope they can continue to make great music for the loyal fans. :)
