So...in my public speaking class I have to do a tribute and of course I'm going to do one for Stevie Nicks!

So I'm making a tribute video to go along with my speech on Windows Movie Maker.

So feel free to post some of Stevie's most famous good quality pics throughout the years. I'm not sure what size the pics need to be. Because when you make a video on Windows Movie Maker in tends to blur images. Does anyone mess around with Windows Movie Maker and know what an appropriate image size would be?

I may need some pics of her with Fleetwood Mac also.

Thanks guys and gals!

If you are doing a tribute speech, you can talk about her status in the Rock community and show some pics of her with some other famous classic rockers. I have always liked this pic.

There are 178 high resolution pictures of Stevie through the years on the Nicks Fix:

There are MANY MANY pictures posted here on the Stevie board if you skim down a bit.

Good luck!

OMG !! I just did a Stevie Nicks Tribute in MY public speaking class last symester! Mine was we had to do something that meant something to us from our home state of Arizona. Some people did the Grand Canyon, others did Tombstone, ect.and one guy was like, Well im gonna do my hero Alice cooper, and another guy (who coincidentaly was also small, white, shaggy hair, and loved basket ball picked Steve Nash:laugh:) So Naturally I picked Stevie:blob2: At one point in the speech, I was like Stevie and her music are absolute magic, though Stevie is adamant about in no way bieng a black magic witch. HOWEVER, Here is Stevie in her own words... ( I showed the "I like to think that I'm Glinda" quote of Stevies from that one recent interview, and then was like .......LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!, EXIBIT A!! then cut to this still....
I then had the Glenda the good witch from the north sound bite for "are you a good witch or a bad witch" haha
Crimpped hair, slver jewlery, pink dress, singing, enchanted forest. You aint kiddin nobody.:laugh:you ARE Glinda.

Are you going to be displaying the video on a computer or on a TV or...?

I'm going to make the video on WMV and save it to my computer on a jumpdrive.
So I will be showing it on a computer. Our teacher has a big overhead screen that she pulls down and it projects the computer screen so the whole class can see it.

I'm having so much trouble with this video. I worked on it for hours last night and I couldn't get the images to come out clear. And I'm also using video clips from youtube. The video clips are crappy quality too.

Ughhh! I hate Windows Movie Maker!

Ahhh, you poor thing.

I have a few different video editors - if you want to give me a couple of the images/videos, I can run them through my programs and see if I can't clean them up for you so they behave better in Movie Maker. No guarantees it'll work as well as you want, but it's worth a shot.
