I would say that Stand Back is best Stevieīs song ever... I donīt really like the studio version at all, but I so love the live performances during all 80s and 90s tours... nowadays itīs little bit boring Iīd say, but thatīs not so important, because I simply love that Stevie do this song live with so much energy and so good mood.

So at the end of this Face Off I wonīt know which song I vote for, because when I compare studio versions of all songs from WH album, my most favourite would probably be If Anyone Falls, but as I said Stand Back is my most favourite song ever :-).... that will be my problem:shrug:

What?! Don't get rid of Stand Back!

I voted for Nightbird. I don't care for the studio version, but I love the Solid Gold version.

I'm voting for BATB this time but next time will probably be SB just cause I've heard it like so much....not that I haven't loved it but I do love the songs (it seems that aren't like so over played ya know.....) IMO anyway.......:shrug: Ps I do love the WH lp though so these next rounds won't be easy at all....

I love all of these songs, but I had to go with "If anyone Falls"! B&B has to pull through it is out of this world, and live I mean come on I never left a show with a dry eye!!!

I'm thinking Wild Heart should be next. In no way does it compare to Beauty and the Beast or Stand Back. I can see If Anyone Falls going before Wild Heart, but I really think this time around it should be Wild Heart.

BATB is a beautiful slow song about love and all that happy stuff.
IAF is the most kick a$$ song on this record.
WH is just a pure masterpiece. :D

Wild Heart is not a masterpiece, if it was don't you think it would be played all the time rather than Stand Back...Stand Back is the true masterpiece on this album.

Stand Back was the comercial masterpiece. ;)

WH is my favorite song on this album.

For many of us, The Wild Heart is a masterpiece.

Stand Back - also a masterpiece - adheres to a stricter pop formula, making it more commercial and accessible to the mainstream.

Using that logic, Talk To Me would be an infinitely better song than all of her Tusk songs sans Sara put together, since none of them ever get played on the radio.

The way she started doing it for Caesar's Palace, I never left with a dry eye either. In fact, between BATB and Rock and Roll, I sank into a major depression, to the point where Klonopin seemed like an "upper." I loved the studio version of BATB when the album came out, though. Michele
