I am working on a scrap book of stevie and I would love to know what some of your favorite lyrics from her are and why?

Any other things that might help me make a kick ass scrap book would be appreciated. I have been lurking for sometime and I love this board.

I last saw Stevie in Boston On June 22 and I can't even explain how spellbound I was. I was the closest I have ever been to her, 9th row and my husband met Many Moore who opened up for her, I have photo's, can I share them here?

Anyway I would love to know this question. Mine has to be Mistaken Love, The entire song is just so moving " I never did love easily but I easily loved you"
man she is just awesome. I have to admit that I find her demos amazing and have always wondered why she never released these songs, Like OOh Baby, these are amazing and very intense love songs I feel.

I love this because it seems so sad and so honest. She's accepting that someone has to leave, and says that she knows 'all about love' (in other words, how love never seems to work out).

This one had me thinking for a while. I have to say first off, Stevie is a poet like no other, the words and rymes that she creates are beautiful and filled with high meaning, and I hold them very near and dear to my heart... I could never-ever really narrow it down to one song, one lyric, one line, or one note!!! Never!!! Being that I am an open gay male, I can really relate to Stevie with her love/loss situations in her songs (as Iam sure everyone can). When you get involved with a "straight man" you endure some pain, even more so when the relationship falls apart, because it can never work out... Stevie always shines through in the end, no matter how painful or however long it takes her, she comes back with a vengence, and shows us that it is possible... So, a favorite Stevie lyric of mine is as follows...
