Are you sure it was in Pittsburgh though? I think it might be in Burgettstown PA. That's where stevie played on the date you gave for the Street Angel tour. Fleetwood Mac also played there in September. At the Starlake Amphitheatre for both shows.

Yes, I said Pittsburgh loosely... it was actually in Burgettstown... which is a little town about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh. I was at both of these shows at Starlake Amphitheater. It is the closest large outside venue to my home.

I do have the entire show from The Dance stop in Burgettstown...
I will upload the rest of the tracks this week sometime.

I also have the show from June 9th, 1998 at Starlake... from Stevie's Enchanted Tour
that I am going to get up, too...

This audio is actually taken for my vhs copy of this concert. I actually got a copy a couple of days after the show from the person who taped it. I have held onto it for 14 years!! Ha Ha! I have only played it a few times... once to copy it onto a dvd-r and a couple of times to get the audio. This was the first time I ever saw Stevie and that show changed my life forever!!

Can you just picture insane lightning all around the place... out in a field in the middle of nowhere while Stevie sings "Thunder only happens when it's raining..."
The storms that night were incredible... and Stevie even commented from the stage that the lightning was "totally cool."

Oh yeah... when you hear Stand Back... you can hear me screaming right before it starts... and just as it kicks in I give a huge YEEEEOOOWWW!!

I remember seeing that first hand!!! I loved how Stevie couldn't wipe the smile off her face for like a minute after it happened...

That was quite an intense show to see!

I can remember thinking how good she sounded...
she really belted it out that night!

OMG, you just made my day. I was at all the shows mentioned. And yeah, when a show comes to Starlake we call it the Pittsburgh show because that's the only real place to see a show in the Pittsburgh area, at least it was in the 90's. I moved to LA in 99.

I remember when the guy jumped on the stage. I was thinking it was the Other Side tour but my memory isn't what it used to be. I do remember her saying something like "don't be afraid, I'm not". Or something like that.

And that storm at Starlake was wild. You guys have no idea what it's like to have Stevie singing Dreams while lightning flashes all around you. It was one of those moments I'll never forget. I also remember that before that I hadn't really seen too many interviews with Stevie other than the Tust dock and when she referred to the lighting as "like... totally cool" I almost fell out of my seat. I always thought she would be this very regal and stoic woman and at that moment she reminded me of a valley girl. LOL!
