Alright, I got an idea that I thought would be a cool colaborative thing. I don't know if you all remember the tour edition threads that we used to do where we discussed Stevie's tour, but this is kind of similar to that. I was thinking that we could go era by era and post our favorite pictures from it. That way, it's a nice gathering of some of our faves.

I don't have a whole lot, but I will definately contribute what I have when the era comes up.

So anyway, let's get the picture party started with some lucious shots from OSOTM~:blob2:

OSOTM is great era. I prefer album version of Rooms on Fire, but also I prefer live version of Whole Lotta Trouble (that video is great!).
My very favourite is also Stand Back live from OSOTM tour, I love Alice.
I love that amazing beginning of EOS, which was played only on that tour.

So, that´s why is year 1989 in Stevie´s life one of my most favourite.

Yeah, I'm not sure on this one. I do know that it was on an OSOTM tour shirt, but other than that..... But I will say, there are some shots of Stevie from this era (I even think some from the tourbook) that I would have originally guessed were from an earlier era...... But I could be wrong. :laugh:

Well, it's also in the (European) Tango tourbook so it could be a very early Tango shot or maybe RAL? It looks more early Tango to me.

Maybe it wasn't on a shirt, I might have confused it with the head shot they used on one of the RAL shirts...but that pic was used somewhere -- it's driving me crazy now!!! :distress:

I have one of those baseball cards. It's one from 1979 from "Tusk". And on the back of the card it's got all the bands info on the album and all that stuff.:)

The hair isn't RAL tour. It was a bit shorter then, more layered and something close to (but not quite) a mullet style- you know, longer in the back than on top or the front.
Plus, she was doing heavy kohl around the eyes then. I'd say this is a studio shot from TOSOTM era made to look like a stage shot, or a photo from a dress rehearsal. Which would explain to me why it was on the tour merchandise. But I could be dead-wrong.

P.S, I bought my t-shirt (a black one) and handed my $ to Christopher Nicks. My first thought was "WTF. Why's HE working the t-shirt booth??"
That's an awful big responsibility to lay on her little brother. Hope the stress of it isn't going to make him do a Christopher Ciccone and write a tell-all book.

Whoops, I must have missed the TITN reference, sorry. Ok, well than that makes perfect sense too. By the time the OSOTM tour merchandise was created, that pic was already 'out there' yet recent enough to not look like 70's or early 80's nostalgia so they went with it. My theory of a 'Mirror' tour rehearsal pic didn't have much weight, since that would be a real rushed job to get the pics developed and then silkscreened before the first show. Because gawd knows, the tour merchandise is done with perfection and an eye for detail. :laugh:

This is the era I least like. She looks so bloated and puffy and her eyes say "help I am in misery" it is very sad to see her this way.
