I just watched it again, and to me it's 100 % him. Are we talking about the same performance? Because the guy on Saturday Night Live is doing spins and dance moves that look like a trained dancer to me, not some guy from the audience or another band. He's also got the same hair and long face of Brad.


Edit: it's really difficult to get a still of him during the Stand Back SNL performance but it's obviously him, I've never ever heard otherwise even in my 20+ years of fandom. Plus he's doing EXACTLY the same moves as the dancer from the Solid Gold performance.

Probably for the same reason that Sanne2 has proven to us that they used different backdrops on the Tusk Tour that were used on previous tours. Maybe Lindsey used this shirt or guitar early in the tour. Do you have a picture from every show they did?

I have to agree with you on this one David. It is the 1978 tour. While Stevie did wear similar clothes on the Tusk Tour, Lindsey had gotten rid of those horrible jackets and started wearing his nice suits onstage by the time of the Tusk tour.

I am not saying there is a problem. I think that my comment on the photo was taken out of context. I was just saying that I posted that photo up before. I wasn't starting anything. So I don't have a problem, but apparently you do. And no I didn't post a link to the set of pics I was talking about that one photo. So enjoy "the link" of photos. I'm not stopping you. I just commented about the picture I wasn't doing anything wrong. Sorry for commenting and no the picture doesn't belong to me just like all the photos we post up on here. None of these photos belong to us unless we've taken them at a concert or something. So it wasn't like I was fighting over what was mine, I was just commenting on the picture. Sorry if it sounded like I was attacking someone. Guess I have to be a little more careful when I say things on this site. I know how sensitive some people can be. I guess it was the smilie face shrug logo at the end of my sentence that caught everyone's eyes. Well I didn't realize that I put that there it was supposed to be a smiley face. Thank you so much for clearing that up for me. That's really sad...it must have been awful to have those rumors circulating about someone who had actually been a true friend to her. Something told me that it wasn't true but I could never find a difinitive answer on the subject...other than that very questionable article that I mentioned. I can't tell you how many different Stevie and Tom combinations I've used on the Ledge search engine to find an answer :lol:

I just grabbed them from one of those photo database sites. Plus I like the way they indicate to the youngsters here that all those capes & shawls that they call the Gold Dust woman shawl or the Stand Back cape or the Edge of Seventeen cape (or whatever) really started out life differently! The Stand Back cape was the Sisters of the Moon cape, the Edge of Seventeen cape was the Say You Love Me/The Chain cape, & so on.

Stevie was the first green rock star! she recycled her capewear.

I completely agree! While those photos aren't as expertly taken, I can actually imagine being in the audience and seeing the concert at that angle, where the professional photos are often more like a piece of art, iconic even. The great thing about these photos too is you can see how vibrant Stevie's clothes looked: the purple and white satin just seems to glow on stage judging from the pics
