As I was listening Has Anyone Every Written Anything For You today, I noticed that at the very end, there's this little sound almost in the background that sounds similar to I Can't Wait (I know that made no sense :sorry: ) And in a video I saw awhile back, Stevie was talking about how she wrote it on her piano in the house, but it's writing is credited to "Stevie Nicks; Keith Olsen" and Keith also helped write I Can't Wait... So, does anyone know if that little bit that comes in right about 4:08 was lifted from I Can't Wait to sort of open and close the album? And does anyone know if Stevie wrote the words and music or just the words to this song?

I promise this all makes sense in my head... :] :blob2:

Thanks in advance :wavey:

The people who sent Stevie the music track that became "I Can't Wait" after she wrote the lyrics were Rick Nowels and Eric Pressly, so what you are hearing may be a coincidence. As for Keith's contribution to "HAEWAFY", he said "I had always had this idea for a bridge to make the transition from the verse/chorus repetition.... And then putting a key change as high as it is was exciting. "

This is the bridge:

"And the rain comes down
There's no pain and there's no doubt
It was easy to say
I believed in you everyday
If not for me
Then do it for the world"

I think he created the music for the bridge and Stevie wrote words to it, because it seem like words she would write.

His contribution (a very significant one!) is occasionally overlooked. In the Timespace booklet, he is not credited as one of the writers.

That song was written after the "Wild Heart Tour"had ended. It was during the tour she was very close with Joe Walsh and the song was written for him beacuse of the story he told Stevie about when his daughter was killed. She said she went home and wrote this song in 5 minutes.

This is from my Storytellers CD. The first part of it is a guy talking to Stevie about "The Blue Lamp", but after that is when she will start talking about "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You." Hope this works for ya.:wavey:

You can hear Stevie's version of the main body of chords from one of her radio interviews in 1994 -- either Jim Ladd or Mark & Brian. She keeps it simple by not modulating.

Another thing I realized yesterday during a migraine attack: Stevie uses the chord progression of LANDSLIDE in the unreleased MISTRESS OF MY FATE.

Ha! Who says you can't be productive with a migraine?

You know what, I've always heard background noise that lasts forever after the main track of HAEW has ended, but I never really listened to it. So guess what I am doing today?
