Wanted to share this to all who don't have it. I made the video, and the link is the audio for it. A really nice alt. version of Bombay Sapphires. Hope you enjoy. :)

The one song on an album that La Nicks actually produced by herself and I must say she did a fine job keeping the song's spirit intact. It totally begs the question why doesn't she produce an entire album herself:shrug:

I've always loved this demo so much... imho it's way better than the album version, way more funkier. Plus, that little "but that's my dream / so it seems / still she dreams / but they're are none" parts kicks so much ass

Stupid question.....but I was wondering how people go about to making those slide shows with their own music added into it? I want to do it but I don't know how...any suggestions???

Windows computers come with a program where you can make videos on. That's what this one is made on. You can find it under your programs when you click "Start" and then "All Programs"

Then I just inport the pictures into the program and import audio. And then you can play with it till you like it. Let me know how that works for you, or if you have any questions.

Holy cow!! I have never heard this demo, and certainly don't own it. Would it be possible for someone to post a downloadable audio link, I LOVE IT!!:D

This is an outtake (an unused completed recording) from TISL, not a demo. "Demo" and "outtake" are often used interchangeably, but they are completely different things.

Are there any other TISL outakes besides this, Space Needle, and My Heart?

Yeah, I really like the groove to this song and I do like the outtake a little more than the album version. I definitely can hear a Sting vibe to this song. It's a shame he couldn't make it to the "TISL Party". And I agree that Stevie did a fine job producing it. Actually I think one of the stipulations Stevie made for doing one more record with FM, was that SHE produce it. ;)

Here is a demo of Bombay Sapphires. It's more "stripped down". Sometimes demos become what actually ends up on record, or fairly close to it. Didn't Mick say that "Beautiful Child" was virtually the demo of the song?

That's interesting to hear... I didn't know Stevie produced it. She really did do a good job. I think it's one of the better songs on the album. Thanks for posting the demo nailatixela.

I think the demo is very good, I perfer the album version though.

Love the start of the song and the production is very nice and lush but I hate the lack of melody and the dronning vocal.
