View Full Version : Time table for release materials - Soundstage

Today marks 8 weeks until the Soundstage CD/DVD is released. How many weeks prior to a release is the album art and tracklisting usually put on Amazon, or made public?

I have a feeling the cover pix's and such are going to be taken from the most recent Neal Preston photo session ( with the red draped backdrop w/ Stevie in the black coat ,white dress,boots and top hat) which appeared in Q magazine, and since shes's already using theses pictures in her recent newspaper advertisements on her east coast dates, I would be suprised if she used different pictures on the Soundstage CD/DVD . These professional pictures where taken in the last 6 months for some reason.

I personally wouldn't mind those pictures being used, cause they are gorgeous and current, compared with what she used for Crystal Visions.:)

^Using those pictures would be lovely, especially if they include shots that have not yet been published. But I thought they would probably use some sort of picture from Soundstage itself to promote the "live" angle of it. Like maybe Stevie on stage in her top hat.

I agree. Most of the Soundstage DVD packaging utilizes stage shots to communicate the "live" aspect to the customer, but I wouldn't be surprised if Neal Preston shot with the red, draped fabric is used elsewhere on the package art.

I keep checking whvdirect.com, but package art, retail materials, etc. have not been posted. Soundstage isn't even listed for pre-order, even though many July 15 releases (Birds of Prey, Season One; Dallas, Season 9) are listed has having June 10 pre-order dates for retail.

That would be really cool too. I so excited to see that anyway:D
