OK, all you experts out there, I need some help. Can anyone tell me from which era/tour this pic is from? I'm usually pretty good at this sort of thing but this one's got me stumped. I would guess by the outfit that it's post Rock a Little but the hair seems all wrong. Anyone?

the boobs and cross tell me it's sometime post RAL, but the hair is back to pre-RAL (almost WWD tour hair), so it's very hard to pinpoint. Very interesting puzzle. Maybe the second leg of the TITN tour. I think we know she was wearing huge shoulder padding during OSOTM, BTM, Timespace, and SA shows and finally dropped them for the FM 'Dance' shows to this day. Again, the hair makes it hard to dissect. And the crucifix too. Maybe...this is one of her shows she was doing at state fairs or whatnot in that lonely period post SA and pre FM 'Dance?

Great pic!
Yep, definately BTM tour.
Pretty early I think, she's still looking slim & sexy.
People forget that she was looking pretty good early on in the tour, most people only remember the mess that she was at the end of that tour.

It pretty much ruled out BTM because I have several videos of late dates in that tour and she definitely didn't look like this. But she did look great on the video for "Skies The Limit" and was wearing the same white top in some of the live shots so maybe.

Some more BTM pics with similair hairstyle, also that white bustier with the chains in the front she only worn that on this tour:

Cool! Thanks for solving the mystery...the hair was also throwing me off cause later in the tour it was much bigger. So what happened to Stevie during this tour? I heard she was having problems with her voice and got steroid shots, which caused the weight gain/bloating. She looks completely different at the start of this tour versus the end.

:laugh:You sound like an archaeologist dating a Mayan vase. After being a Stevie fan for a few years, I believe people are professionally qualified to go on the Discovery Channel as historical dating experts.

I have several BTM shows on VHS... The shows are good but Stevie is in full force robot mode. I remember watching them before she started talking openly about her klonopin addiction and wondering what the hell was going on with her. For me, the highlight of these shows is during Go Your Own Way, she pretty much does an "Edge" walk and collects a whole lot of stuff (BIG stuffed animals, etc. ) that she holds on to until the end of the song (very reminiscent of the last show of the White Wing Dove tour). She's totally Stevie the superstar on this tour, which makes up for the somewhat lackluster performances.

There's a rickety-shot video of practically all the Las Vegas show at the Aladdin on June 10, 1990. (Do I have that date right?) I saw the show in Sacratomato on June 1. The band was much better in June than six months down the line.

That whole last leg of that tour: October, November, December. I don't think I have ever hated Fleetwood Mac as much as I did those last few months of that tour.

Someone needs to make a chart to plot these costume and hair changes '72-'08, you're right we have alot of very good and astute observations on Stevie-osity.

Me too, I ruled it out because I remember lots of bloated and dazed pics. I caught 2 nights of BTM, and I'm having trouble remembering exact costume details- probably because I was up in the mezzanine. Some shoulder pads, which I thought were OSOTM leftovers. Let's see, Jones Beach summer '90 (August?) and then Madison Square Garden fall (November?) '90.

Well good, this was a nice suprise to see her looking alert and bright on some of the BTM tour.

East Rutherford, Vegas, and Kansas City are pretty awesome BTM shows on DVD. The best quality wise is probably East Rutherford. Heres Tear it Up/Don't Stop from Vegas....Stevie is wild here!!!

There's also a show from Philadelphia, a show I attended. The vid is shot from far stage right but I like it 'cause it shows the band from an entirely viewpoint.

Ahh yes, isn't that the show when Stevie slaps John's bum with her tambo?

I'm not sure what happend to he r on the BTM tour since she was already Klonopined out for at least 2 years by then but when I saw her at two earlier shows at Irvine I think and then SDSU she looked beautiful and was fairly animated but by the final Forum show in December she had gained major weight and was totally listless in fact it was THE worst performance I ever saw her give and I've seen her quite a few times ..the only time she even livened up at all is when Lindsey came out to perform Landslide and GYOW .but still way below par and then I could see her through an entrance bakstage propped up against the wall and chainsmoking ..very sad.:distress:

Well, I do have to say that I do have an affinity for this era, and wish that I could get my hands collectively on some vids from this time and put them onto DVD, but they are a rarity on youtube I think~
