Hi you all around here :-)
Well, I really want to say something about this guy Dean Karr. I've just taken a look at the eBay site and found out that this guy is offering his "Everyday" Behind the scenes photo package.
Honestly this guy is getting on my nerves!!! He's explaining in his descriptions that this is a super package. This should go to a true fan. He's not interested in selling this package to someone who resell it at eBay. These people should stay away from his auctions blah blah blah.
He told many times HOW RARE these Behind the scenes photos are (well, I have this set myself in my collection directly bought from eBay...pretty nice pictures...yes....but)...he's offering his SO RARE photos now for the fifth or sixth time on eBay and for me they are NOT RARE anymore! They would have been rare when he sold this photo package just one or two times. Maybe they are circulating around anywhere through trades which I think is ok. We are all trading (or not).
But this guy is somewhat so selfish and feels like god that he made the "Everyday" video for Stevie. Nice video, yes, but I have the feeling that he's just presenting HOW GOOD he is and what such a GOOD WORK he did. Man, there are better directors out there! And these ones are NOT selling their GOOD WORK again and again because they don't need the attention. They're satisfied with what they did without any publicity.
This is my opinion and if I said something that hurted someone...sorry. I know that we wouldn't get some Stevie stuff without eBay or the net. What I don't like are people who are offering their stuff again and again but telling HOW RARE they are.

After I've posted this thread I've sent a message to Johnny Stew about this. I haven't read the rules. I've sent Johnny Stew my apologies. YOU can contact him. Secondly the name-spelling is not wrong on my side because the seller uses his name as an eBay User ID so EVERYONE knows his name! I've seen other messages on the boards here which have a rude tone to special members. Contact Johnny...I wrote to him! And he had no need to remove this..(for whatever reason).

As I've written in some of the lines: I know that we wouldn't get some cool Stevie stuff without eBay or the net. I wasn't against these photos. What I've tried to say is that I think that these photos are not rare anymore since the seller is putting them up on eBay again and again (and I think it's not the last time he's doing this). And he is stating these photos as rare. For me they are not rare anymore. I would use the word rare if an item is available once only and then never again. The german mentality is different as the US ones. So maybe you are using the word rare in a different way as I would use it. Good luck bidding :-)

Ahh, I see, You are saying the problem is with the discripton of the photos and not the photos themselves. Very good, now i understand, thank you.:)

Hi Melanie... I'm sorry that I didn't have a chance to respond to your email yet. I read it late last night and had wanted to bring it to Michele's attention (MicheleJ1 is the new owner of the Ledge, if you weren't aware).
Either way, though, your post isn't in violation of the rules. You haven't slandered or defamed Dean Karr, you've simply expressed your personal viewpoint regarding his eBay auctions.
As long as you don't attack his character, you're fine. :)

No, the photos themselves are pretty and very nice. Well, some of them are over-exposed or slightly blurry but very nice to look at. I just hate it that the seller offers them as rare but have put them up now for the fifth or sixth time. They are definetely very collectable. And I understand that everyone who's collecting photos on Stevie wants them.
I know that my english speaking is not that bad but sometimes it might turn out in another way as I actually wanted to say. Sometimes I have problems to find the right words. I never mean the things in a bad way.

Your English is very nice, i was just un-clear. And I do understand about language,:wavey: I used to live in Australia, and even between two English-speaking countries, things get lost in translation!
