Does anyone know where these originated from? They are crystal clear.
On each clip she speaks specifically about one song on Belladonna.
She refers to How Still My Love as "Still of the Night."
She wrote Kind of Woman as a sort of warning to Lindsey when he went on the road with the Everly Brothers.
Think About it she discusses Christine.

I didn't download any of them, but I'm guessing they are from her 1981 Jim Ladd innerview. One of the best interviews with her, she talks about each song on "Bella Donna". I have over 100 radio shows of Stevie's from 1975 thru 2007 on LP and later CD as the format changed and the 1981 ~ 1983 interviews are among her best. Her 1994 Off The Record is also very cool, she trashes the "Street Angel" album, which is what she was promoting and even talks about the abortion in 1978.

I didn't download any of them, but I'm guessing they are from her 1981 Jim Ladd innerview. Same year, but not the Jim Ladd interview. Do you remember the NBC Source long radio show with host Denny Somack? I think these clips are either from that or from the other long Bella Donna radio show (the host of which I forget). She talked about writing KIND OF WOMAN because Lindsey was off touring with Everly No. 1 or 2, & she was getting suspicious that he was dating women on the road.

Thanks for posting these! I believe she talked about the Edge of 17 story and the Kind of Woman story to different inteviewers. I remember hearing them many times before as well as the Leather & Lace and Think About It stories. I want to say she did some interviews for Westwood One around this time.

I would also love to hear the Jim Ladd interviews (Bella Donna, Wild Heart, etc) and the 1994 Off the Record interview.
I started a thread about a week ago looking for a 1991 interview. It's on the thread, "Early 90's audio interview."
"Priestofnothing" posted it - http://www.mediafire.com/?exjo10vxmwj
Thank you again and if anyone has any other great interviews, I would love to hear them!

Thank you, David! Those were great! I had never heard them before. I almost started crying with Stevie when that woman called and was telling her how much her music meant to her friend that was dying.
But as soon as Jim asked her if she was "moist" I was howling with laughter. I can't believe he said that. LOL!
