I love Barbara Nicks. She's got that perfect 50's housewife hair and makeup. You know she had a ladies' club, and played bridge, and probably hosted cocktail parties in a Frank Lyod Wright-styled abode.

I love the pic with her clutching her pack of 'Parliament Light 100's' cigarettes. That's like my mom- you can't find a single photo of her from our childhood without her cigarette case, cigarette pack, ashtray or lit cigarette in it.

What's strange to me and I know this is going to sound a little strange, but by looking at the old b&w photo of the four of them, Stevie doesn't really look like her brother or her parents. Her nose must've came from someone else in the family because her mom, dad and chris don't have the same nose or shape of eyes or mouth like she does. I don't no, that's my opinion. But it's a great photo though.:wavey::blob1:

It's kind of funny because from what we know Barbara was the stricter one in the family, struggling to keep discipline in Stevie's life and to keep her from being over-indulged and spoiled completely rotten. This even continued beyond Stevie's childhood. But the way Mother Nicks smiles and the kind of uneven look in her eyes in the photos gives the impression that she is the zany one.

I think Stevie looks more like her than she does like Chris or Jess.

i was thinking the same thing. but her brother has the same kind of nose too. odd. i think stevie looks more like her mother than her father.
