I have an mp3 of Paper Doll and it's listed as being by Lee "Scratch" Perry. It sounds very much like the one on the Chain box set but it's a lot faster. Anyone have any info about this?

Thank you! I love Paper Doll, but I've never come across any demo or alternate versions, so this is pretty exciting for me :).

You rock! Thanks for posting, I've always really liked Stevie's vocal on this song, it's nice to have an alternate version. I think I prefer the "regular" version, she has a harsher edge to her voice that I really dig.

You're welcome, guys. For all I know "Scratch" Perry could be the person who had this track in their iTunes folder. LOL!

Lee "Scratch" Perry is a producer, but I don't think he's ever been associated with Paper Doll or Stevie.
