Stevie to be featured on What Perez Says About: Divas

Hi all,

I don't post here much anymore but I thought I would let you know that Stevie will be featured on Perez Hilton's little show, "What Perez Says About: Divas".

Funny that he's a fan, yet still says "one winged dove." Ahhh.

It will be on Feb 19th @ 10 PM.

Even if you don't like Perez, it should be funny. And two of my faves will be on there (Stevie and Tori)....so it will be quite the show.

well, i guess it is good that stevie's name gets tossed about on TV but I wish it was someone other than perez.

he generally promotes acts that are lip syncers and posers.

from reading Perez's web page that he is a HUGE Stevie fan. It says on the VH1 link that Stevie teaches Perez how to spin. This will be great to watch.:blob1:

quite frankly, i am very surprised stevie would agree to do something with him. she thinks the internet is evil, so i would think perez would be satan's spawn to her. could you imagine her seeing her picture after he drew some of his love dots?

it's true he was on her bandwagon early, but he also had close access (friend?) for awhile there. anyone that let's him hang out with them is fabulous. Plus she is perfect fodder for his place. Unstable celebrity with lots of rumors swirling around them. . . coughbritneycough.

i do go to his site obviously, guilty as charged, but being cute and newsworthy seems to be his musical standard.

I thought for sure it was an impersonator in all those commercials, but, no, it's apparently really Dolly Parton who appears in the special "What Perez Says About Divas" (VH1, 10 p.m.), hosted by that ungainly gossip monger with the odd hair color. It also features Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion and Stevie Nicks, as well as Elton John, George Michael, Robbie Williams and Rufus Wainwright.

I taped this morning's airing, and checked at lunch - Stevie was NOT featured in this show. But then again neither were half the people mentioned in the press release. No Celine, no Stevie, and none of the male divas. I can't tell from that awful Vh1 site - but maybe there's a part 2 coming? Or maybe they're going to be posting webisodes?

It featured interviews/skits with P!nk, Dolly, Chaka, Keyshia Cole, MJB, Jill Scott, Tori, Gloria Estafan, and Janet Jackson at the end. There were mentions of the Britneys and Jessicas during the interludes and interviews, but nothing else.

considering the way he acted during his segment with Dolly, I don't doubt she did kill it. I mean, it's Dolly. you don't plop down and exactly act like she's your best fag hag and really wants to spank you.

It must have been filmed, because I saw a clip of her segment a while back when it was advertised. I'm bummed that it was pulled because I love to see Stevie on TV no matter what... but hey, if it was her choice, that's the way it is. Actually, I'm MORE bummed that I didn't know her segment was pulled before I wasted an hour of my life watching Perez Hilton looking for her.

I'm glad Stevie wasn't on there, Perez Hilton is an asshole and Stevie must have seen that and said no. Dolly has a great sense of humor about herself and can take a joke (I've also never heard her say anything negative about anyone). Stevie on the other hand is a very different person, if she doesn't like how she came off, she'll scrap it. She's done that many times.
