I wish she'd bill with somebody. For even better sales. Heart is supposedly going to be touring with Cheap Trick and Jounrey. Why can't they get out of that and bill with Stevie.

is there ever any sort of pre-sale for mohegan sun?
seeing stevie last summer at tweeter center from so far away was borderline painful... (she was excellent- don't get me wrong- but being so far away was torturous)

For you. All you do is moan anyway:thumbsup::laugh: Do you think she'll sell out 10,000 seats?

Yaaaay!!!
Stevie, penny slots and all you eat buffets! No better combination!
Not on the Mohegan website yet, hopefully soon!
PS - I don't know if this is always the case with Mohegan Sun, but I saw Hootie and the Blowfish there and they didn't use the entire arena. Works out quite nicely, and keeps the stage closer to the seats in the back.

She had no problem selling out Mohegan on July 1st of 2007!

I'm suprised Hootie and Co. weren't delegated to The Wolf's Den in Mohegan Sun Casino. In the Wolf's Den I recently saw Three Dog Night and The Violent Femmes.

I've seen Three Dog Night for FREE three times in CT (and they were awesome each time), so I can imagine that's why they were in the Den. Hootie did pretty well in the Arena. The Cabaret space is also very nice, though small. My brother saw Marc Cohn there and enjoyed him very much.

A casino tour and I suppose come this summer it will be the state fair circuit and naturally no new music..dismal.

I wouldn't count Mohegan Sun as a "casino tour". Along with The Meadows in Hartford (or whatever they call it these days), the Mohegan Sun Arena is one of the main venues in Connecticut for larger acts to play. Bon Jovi with Chris Daughtry is scheduled to be there this spring, as is Matchbox 20 with Alanis Morisette, Van Halen, Dolly Parton, Def Leppard, Santana, Michael Buble.... it's not bad company to be keeping with, for sure. It's not like Stevie's singing while people smoke and play roulette, it's a large concert venue that happens to be inside a casino. Big difference.

yeah, I LOVED mohegan suns arena! a lot of big acts play there. I saw Maroon 5 there a few months ago, which worked out great for my mom...she got to gamble while i was at the show. The arena is HUGE, and the people who work there are really really nice :)
I agree with you bucklind17. Its not a casnio tour, I would think even foxwoods wouldnt count as a casino tour. I know daughtry played there in december, and five for fighting played there a while ago. Plus i think the fact that the venue is in the casino brings more people actually. theres a hotel in the casino, and then theres something to do [21 + of course] while you wait for the doors to open if you get there early.
just my two cents.

I'm hoping for a setlist based off Crystal Visions. She should do the whole Crystal Visions album. Including the video songs.:D
I wonder where the NY show will be. THE GARDEN!!!

WOO HOOO! I second that --- my friend and I were chatting about this the other day..I hope to GOD that Heart does not tour with Cheap Trick and Journey....that would be a huge bummer. Now, if they were to team up with Stevie, that would be one HELL of a concert!!

Couldn't pull better than section 7 or 8 for 2 tix. Now the website seems to be down. Same old same old. Guess I'll have to hope good seats pop up later like they usually do. They are probably holding good ones for the box office sale, I think that is tomorrow.

I got section 6, row H. Would have liked to be a little more center (and front!), but hopefully this is good! I can't remember how long the sections are in the Arena, but it's not too deep of a space. We shall seeee.

I was just there in November. I was DYING to get the same seat as last time [which I DID pull up, sec 2 row J...but I lost it :(]. The rows arent really that long, except in the center. Im like right off the aisle though. so it shouldnt be bad :)

People have had good luck getting within the first few rows a few days after the sale, up to the day of the show, so hang in there. I'm going to keep trying. I don't want to pay full price for floor seats that are so far back. I think it's better to go with sections 14, 15, 26 or 25 that are on the sides rather than the rear floor. You'll probably see better because of the stadium seats, not to mention that they are closer. Does anyone know if Mohegan will upgrade the tickets the day of the concert if better seats are available?
eric51078
02-15-2008, 10:55 AM
The only seats I could get was 106...it's not a big deal I guess..since I am still going. Mohegan Sun generally does not do upgrades.
Buddy
02-15-2008, 10:58 AM
I tried that last year but the whole place was sold out! Nothing available to upgrade to. The Indians get the best seats, next are the high rollers, then the gambling regulars. Good Luck.

But of course the scalpers got good tickets...ugh...I will stop complaining.

Does anyone remember if the rows on the side sections are numbered 1,2,3 or every other? The only seating charts I can find just map out the sections and I'm curious just how far to the side I am, as well as how many actual rows back. I haven't been there in awhile and wasn't on the floor at the time, so my memory is fuzzy.

I ended up calling 10 mins after they went on sale. The best I got was sec 18. I was curious though does she have the full house seating or the half?

Its absolutely ridiculous and totally unfair. The die hards deserve the good seats. Its so frustrating. I am still hoping for the best.

and yes i do find it unfair that they give tickets to the highrollers who probably could care less about Stevie Nicks, and only go because its free. :(

I am going, but in section 23, so not sure photos for me is an option. Plus I heard that security is tight with cameras at this venue, but not certain on that.
I have never been to this venue before for a concert.
Anybody else remember what their policy is on cameras?
Unless I can zoom in on one of the big screens, Stevie is going to look like a tiny ant. :p
