Dave Fanning travels to LA to meet Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. Buckingham was very much the eminence gris behind Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, one of the costliest albums ever made (and that was just on the emotions). Moreover, the eminence was very gris indeed after he got off the see-saw od passions between band members that fuelled the making of this imperishable album.

Should be good? Dave Fanning had an interview with Lindsey on Irish radio earlier in the year also, and he interviewed Lindsey and Mick around the time of SYW. Not sure when this particular interview was filmed, though.

Oh i cant wait, 3 hrs 15 mins to go.
I hope it isnt just another Rumours story that we have heard a trillion times. But I bet a million pounds Dave Fanning will be asking about Rumours.

Does anyone know when this was recorded???

Ireland gets something aired on TV before America get it.

I bet it's only about the history again. And maybe some UTS-drizzle we all know by heart.

How was it?

Very Good interview also very brief only 4-5 questions. Lasted 10 Mins

Mentioned Success of Rumours and Madness of tusk.

Questioned as to his reasons to go solo.

Mentioned Say you Will and how his stuff keeps gettin turned into FM Stuff

Mentioned the fact that UTS was on the top 10 of nearly all the Top 10 lists for that year.

Great stuff really enjoyed it.

(Fair play Dave Fanning)

Um, I think that's stretching it a little. But you know making the Top 50 on Rolling Stone's list is good enough for me.

One thing that I will say about the UTS tour is that of all the reviews I read, I honestly can count the less than glowing ones on one hand and I'm including the "diva" nonsense involving the Rococo theater in that, even though no concert ever took place.

Honestly, I don't think I read even 5 bad reviews of his concert. I don't think I've ever seen such uniformly good reviews.
