Thank you for the beautiful photos Alicia. Her skirt looks new and more witchy, which is good for that October-Halloween effect. I bet you had a great time!
The walls in that place make these photos appear more to me like a rehearsal hall. If you didn't say it was at Rosemont I wouldda thought it was a rehearsal.

Nice pics. I don't think the black boots are the real deal though. They look a bit shorter in the heel than her old platforms. The tan ones in some of the other pics look more authentic, perhaps they are an older pair. It's possible that Stevie gets her boots made somewhere else now (other than Maya like in the early 80's), and that she requested them a little shorter due to her hip or knee issues.

Still, it's a vast improvement over the Frankenbocks.

I was JUST thinking the exact same thing! The beige ones look alot higher, the heel thinner and the base under her toes thicker. But yeah... she suits the boots better then the runners!

Oh my God these were def. the coolest photos I have ever seen! It looks like you were right on the side of the stage. And I saw something I never thought was possible---her monitors--with the lyrics to her songs!!!--in case she forgets the words!!! Rock star karaeoke it is...

Also, when the group is all lined up for the bow, who is the fat guy in the shiny silver shirt standing to the left of Carlos? He looks pregnant with triplets.LOL

If I didn't know where/when this shot was taken, and if this shot was in black and white, I could have been fooled into thinking this was from the Rumours tour. :eek: Incredible!

I agree, BUt the really weird thing is Carlos (her rhythm guitarist)l; talk about weird looking, long skinny legs and then a fatter body. I was a lil freaked out by him. The hair on the drummer too is a major distraction.

The interesting thing is, I was the first row from the pit and the pit was pretty close (this is where Dennis deYoung does all his gigs, from the pit!!!) Anyway, to my left, facing the stage (would be Stevie's right), you could see all the production guys with video equipment, lyrics, sound machines, etc. There was no curtain at all. I think it could have been Soundstage too trying to see how they were going to record on the 25th?? It was cool to see the "behind the scenes" workings of the concert business. There were about 10 guys there, al in T shirts with badges watching the concert and moving around. The other side was closed with a curtain (to the backs of Sharona and Lori and Jane), so that could not be seen. But the stage right side of Stevie was a clear as day.

By the way, Lori looked great and was in great voice too.

Crash sucked, I dont care what anyone says. Give us Beautiful Child and drop Dave Mathews (he's already "dumped" enough crap on Chicago if you know what I mean :) )

Unfortunately Christine McVie is difficult to convince, even more than Agnetha Fältskog I guess, to reunite for a tour. And a farewell tour wouldn't be an authentic farewell without her.

I love these pics, remarkable that you got such good shots. I have been staying away from Stevie shows for a few years- but maybe I'll start going again. She looks really much better now than I've seen her in a while.
A few questions and observations, some of which may be obvious to some here:

Why does Stevie need a prompter for songs she wrote herself and has not changed the lyrics on?


The guy with the bushy light colored hair in a pony-tail poof but bald in front, who is that? Is he percussion? Because I see Lenny Castro and I can't see why they'd need two..

The black boots ARE shorter than the tan ones.

Stevie's hair up. Never saw that before on her. Love it/hate it. Not sure. Kind of like it, at least she's trying something different and when she's 90 I can't imagine she's going to have the long tresses.

Carlos Rios- got a bit of a hook nose, doesn't he? Never noticed it before.

^The prompter was not for Stevie. It wasn't even in her line of vision. It was set up for the girls, in front of them. I'm sure they don't need it either, but maybe it just helps them with the tempo. Or keeps them on time if they start spacing out or something.

The drummer is Jimmy Paxson, percussionist is Lenny.

Those were my two favorites from the ones you took! Great pics!! Wasn't it an amazing show!!?? You must have been right up front too! I was on the floor but towards the back (section 110 row S) so my pics didn't come out the best.. lol. I had my cheapo camera that doesn't have much of a zoom. Thanks for posting these! :thumbsup:
