I really think they should have recorded a studio version of this song and included it on Mirage.
This song is just..... OOMPH. It's so Fleetwood Mac.

It would have fit very well on Mirage. Much better than some of the songs on there.

another song that is packed with emotion, great lyrics and great harmonies that just kinda got buried. that song alone has sigworthy and lifeworthy captions in bundles.

OMG thanks :D
I really love this song
And it should have been on Mirage as has been stated, I would have prefered it to a few of the songs that were put on there.

One of my all time favorite songs, but that video someone made is freaking awful  The song makes me think of all 5 of them and whoever made this seemed to really focus and Stevie and Lindsey. Not what I picture.

I've never heard anyone suggest this before, but what a great idea that would have been. It was kind of wasted on the live album. They should have held it for Mirage...it would have been a good fit.

If you download the Blue Lamp Sessions Jazmen just posted in the "Come and get it..." thread, you'll find an incredible piano demo of Fireflies.

Fireflies ... one of the best FM songs from that era. It still sounds pretty fresh today. It's so basic yet has so much soul.

Well, they did release (and remix) it as a single, along with The Farmer's Daughter single. Neither one of them busted up the charts. As I understand it, these were recorded in the middle of the Tusk tour. Perhaps if they included Fireflies in their latter set lists, it would have better established the song.

Yeah, no doubt. But Stevie won't play her new songs, even if they're good, remember?
