So, I visit the bellaillume site a lot, and LOVE the tour archives. For the longest time, I didn't know that Fleetwood Mac had come to Louisville. Today I was looking and first of all found out they came during 1987, and then I also found out they came here in 1977!! Both shows were at Freedom Hall, and it just so happens that two years ago my choir sang for a bunch of teachers and school system staff at Freedom Hall.

This means that I have sung on the same stage as STEVIE!!!!! I have used the same backstage door and all of that. I think that is so cool..... Anyway, just thought I'd share this little doo-dad with you all today!!

Much Love,
Ethan

Just joking with you, Ethan. Are you sure it's the same stage, though?

Well, I mean, Freedom Hall is kind of a small place, so the stage can really go in one area. So I would say yes, and regardless, I was in the same backstage area and used the same entranceway, know what I mean?

Well, I'm being a bit disingenuous. I used to live on the other side of the hog back in Green Mountain so I would go and run the steps at Red Rocks when the weather was nice. This was about 15 or so years ago. You can just walk on the stage. I remember one time specifically when I think I sang Love Is Dangerous. The guys that were cleaning the amphitheater in their orange jumpsuits and the tourists seemed to like it. Sometimes I would go and sing Landslide (the version from Fleetwood Mac Live) which was one of my favorites at that time. If you ever get here you should try it. It's fun.

So you mean telling me you can just walk into the place and get on the stage and sing and whatnot? How freaking cool. Sounds like my band needs to take a trip out to Colorado and do so rehearsals at Red Rocks, just for freaking kicks.

How cool!

But to think this will make the rest of your life an anticlimax (tm. Dame Edna)

I hate to add to the insanity, but couldnt pass up the fact that my College Graduation this summer was at the Mann Music Center in Philly...when I was backstage and walking out onto the stage I couldnt help but think that Stevie had performed on the very stage.

ok, I'm finished!
