Having just watched the performance of Heavy Heart on Youtube it brought two things to mind:
Was this part of the End of the Game sessions?
Who the hell decided to release it as a single - and that is not a derogatory question but a track where one of the great guitarists doesn't touch the guitar for the first half of the track and is submerged in the mix for the rest of it smacks of genius

No, as far as I'm concerned, "Heavy Heart" was recorded in January 1971, shortly before Peter went in Usa to replace the "Children Of God" Jeremy Spencer.
The line up probably was: Peter Green:guitar - Nigel Watson: bass - Chris Kelly and Clifford Chevaluza percussions.
Cheers,
Mario.

I attached a photo (sorry for the poor quality) of the group who performed at that 1971 TOTP performance of "Heavy Heart", plus a couple of stills of Peter from the performance.
Also, I found on the linked webpage a 1990 photo I'd never seen before, of Peter with a couple of his '70s friends, Snowy White and Kuma Harada: http://www.snowywhite.com/?location=/web/Photographs/Snowy+with

Thanks for the link Sharksfan, I noticed that Snowy is going to play on september 28 about 40 miles from my place. Guess I'll go see him.
Astonishing Snowy doesn't mention his album "Land of Freedom" as a release (I believe it to be his second solo album) on his website.

And here's another photo from the same session with another familar face...
This must be from the mid-90's, surely, not 1990.

Thanks for the link, dino.....and yes, I should have realized the correct date for the photo must indeed be mid-'90s.

In some countries, here at least, that album was just called "Snowy White", but it's a bit weird that it's not in his discography. There are a couple of other things missing too, singles and stuff
