Blue Lamp Outake [Archive]

I've owned this for a few years now, but I was just listening to it, and NEEDED to start a thread about it. I always loved Blue Lamp in its studio form. It was a top 10 song, but this outake just destroys it so badly, to the point I can't listen to the regular version, which of course i loved until i discoverd this outake. It's extended and her vocals are just so much more powerful, raw and rocking. There's no reason why this version wasn't the offically released one.

I really hate to go on and on about this and not post the song for those who haven't heard this incredible version that is 10 times better then the already great studio version, so could someone else post it for people to download. I dont know if there are many outakes out there, but the one I have and adore is 4:41. She does a lot of "If That's What She Wants" and the last 40 second is here yell "If You Were My Love"

And a completely different story is the 16 minute long demo, that is extremely funny with all of the chatter. Tons of great Stevie lines, my favorite being "It is like and old Dickens character going Can You Give Me a Dime" So if anyone should be so kind to post the outake you might as well post this along with it.

I like the "If You Were My Love " outtake of Blue Lamp. I'll see if I can find it to post. But it is my considered opinion that after listening to the Petty demo that Jimmy Iovine produced the hell out of this song.

I actually agree with both Hawkeye and Chris...love love love this outtake. I think it's the one we see clips of on the Bella Donna documentary.
