I saw Fleetwood Mac play live in Manchester, UK in 1973 and one of the few songs that I am able to remember you playing that night was Night Watch and I thought it sounded great.
Sentimental Lady has always been a favourite of mine as well

welcome to the ledge bob! we are not worthy, etc
hey, everything in rhode island is near providence.
my suggestions: 'nightwatch', 'hypnotized', some bop interpretations, and you have to do 'oh well' with part 2. if anyone can do that live, you're the one.
great news that you are doing shows this year. knock them out in ri.

Hi Bob,
First of all I want to say "Thank you for coming to Rhode Island!!!" I plan on being at both shows. Are you playing with any other artists? I don't have any ideas for a set list right now but I am sure that I can think of some.
Here is the link to RI's newest gambling facility if anyone would like more info.

Thank you for coming to the North East! :)
Well, offhand, I'd like some Paris (Janie, Narrow Gate, etc.) & stuff from "The Other One" ("Spanish Dancers" particularly). :)

Wow! I was listening to your "French Kiss" album on the way home tonight. Whatever you do, play "Ebony Eyes." That song rocks!

John....You're right...The twin rivers thing was from '07. I don't know how it got back up here...So far, in '08 I'm not doing any shows......too much personal stuff going on.....plus , my wifes father passed away 3/17 1 day after we found out she had been misdiagnosed........She's 2 months overdue on her pacemaker replacement because of her dad's passing. To repeat, because I don't want to mislead anybody, I'm not, repeat NOT doing any gigs so far in '08...Nothing has been booked....On top of everything else, it's such a bad economy, 4$ gas, etc. nobody has any "discetionary income".....even for Taco Bell I would think, let alone some rock show. Hopefully, '09 will be better.....we'll have a new President at least ;-)
I think even the diehard Republicans are sick of seeing "W's" face ;-)

Ahhhh, the confusion that resurrecting a year old thread will incite. :wavey:

Yes Bob, completely understand, just saw, let's say, your "main" post, after making mine here so hopefully all will be well with everyone (like you say above here) soon. :)

So, did anyone go?
The shows were cancelled due to an unspecified health concern of Bob's.

Bob originally posted it in both places to get maximum coverage.

I am going to turn the tables a bit here, if I may.
What are YOUR FAVORITES? I'd really like to know.
Last November, I started a thread requesting Bob Welch suggestions, since I had an Amazon gift certificate. Sorry to say that some of your stuff is out of print, but those that I did buy (French Kiss, Greatest hits, Live from the Roxy) were good. I like your voice, so you could sing Old MacDonald, I would like it.
I would NOT do Gold Dust Woman (which appears on the Roxy) --- for reasons pointed out in the Sheryl Crow thread on Rumours. I still can't believe those two didn't respond...
[On Edit - oh hell. I just realized that this was started back in 2007. The year is 2008. Don't I look like a dumb ass?]
Regardless -- Play Denver.
Same here

Bob, I am sorry to hear about your wife. I hope that you and your family have a happy and healthy 2008.
I was looking forward to those shows at Twin Rivers but I know that family comes first.
Maybe we will get to see you in 2009. Twin Rivers isn't doing so hot anyway.
