this is complete bullsh*t but livenation is selling "premium seats" for 255 bucks (plus fees)... I just pulled up pit row 4, I guess it just depends on HOW MUCH you want to see this show...:distress:

I hope I didnt sound like I was bragging. The ticket cost me $177 but I've missed her solo TWICE (TISL tour and summer 05 at the Borgata) so I swore to myself the next time she was here, I was getting a ticket no matter what!

Sooo who is going? Like I said above, I'm 5th row pit.

My plan is to hand Stevie white roses during the edge walk. I hope I can do it! It sucks I'm going by myself, but I've been waiting 9 years for this! My mom took me to see Stevie at this venue in 98-my first concert ever :) We were very far from the stage..I was so naive I brought a white rose with me thinking I was actually going to get close to her. I think we were about 40 rows back

Since Stevie isn't visiting the D.C. area this time around, I'm heading up to Camden to see the show (ticketless). I got a 5th row pit ticket at the box office the day of the show for the Enchanted tour - great seat - you will love it.

I figured I will try the box office again and will either end up in the pit or the lawn (I don't want to pay $125 to sit in the pavilion unless I'm close and in the pit where I know everyone will be standing). It seems like the non pit pavilion seats are filled with sitters who spend most of the time cussing at you to sit.. :-) and I can't sit during a Stevie show. btw, from my experience, Philly fans are rowdy..!!

Should be a good time!!

Me too. I hope there isn't alot of traffic driving up tonight. It's rush hour but I am hoping everyone will be going South down the Turnpike and Parkway, from the City. I cannot get out of work too early so I won't be leaving before six or so. This place has that damned bus from the parking lot into the venue. I do love the venue though, so it is worth it to drive up, etc.

Yes. Yes, you should. :)

If Vanessa were coming, I'd go without a doubt. If Stevie were coming to Buffalo, I'd go without a doubt. If I were able to make the Toronto shows, I'd go without a doubt. But.

It's not the money, it's not the time off from work. It's the fact that we are driving 6 hours to visit friend in York, PA that day. I planned it around the concert, thinking that she'd do something with Isaak. Kind of disappointed she's not. So. To have to leave my house extra early in the morning, then rush from their house to Camden (about 2 hours away,) leave the men to fend for themselves while me & husband's-best-friend's-annoying-wife go to the show? I ain't going through that much trouble (and spending $125 to do it) unless it's damn well worth my while. First few rows of the pit or nothing.

Oh, that stuff sucks ass. Okay, not trying to convince you, but I have some questions
A)Why does annoying wife have to go with you?
B) In that same vein, couldn't your husband go with you instead, and then you go to your friends' after?

Okay, I just like to make plans, and arrange things. I know you wouldn't ever do above. Still, if your husband wanted to go at all, it would be a pretty good plan. Especially the part about evading said annoying wife for at least 4 more hours. :wavey:

Have a good time at your thing with annoying what's her face. :xoxo:

^ Meh. Mark hates concerts, thinks there a waste of money. He'd stand there miserable, or spend tons of cash on beer to make his own fun. :D He'd go if I asked him to (I dragged him to a Mac show in '03) but I know he won't have fun so I'm not going to do that to him.

Annoying wife was my fault. :o I've used those friends in the past as a place to stay for a Mac show (hershey '04  ) and had them drop me off, but then wife mentioned that she would have liked to go & then I felt guilty. So instead of saying "hey, there's a Stevie show, can you guys drive me there & drop me off & I'll see you later, and btw can I stay at your house too?" I was nice & asked her of she wanted to go. Told her how expensive the tix were, and how Stevie's setlist never changes, and that she's old - anything to get her to say no. Didn't work.

Why are you friends with people who are annoying anyway? Or is it solely by proxy? Don't tell me it's only because you need a place to stay.

Mark grew up with Ray, they've been BFF's  or years. He's fine, it's the wife that's the problem. She's not a horrible person, but she's very uninteresting. Is that a word? Like, you can't have a good conversation with her. She's the type of person who will say "oooohh, I love this song" and when I say "really, I can't stand it" and laugh, she'll immediately say "well, yeah, it is kind of annoying." Um. You are entitled to your own opinion, you know. And she calls Pizza Hut, Pizza Slut, which bugs the shit out of me. It's not that funny, and it's certainly no longer funny after we've heard it 20 times. I'm tensing up just thinking about this trip. :o

Are you anticipating all the fake laughter you may have to muster? You should bring a book...hahahaha. "What? Oh, sorry, I'm trying to read. What? Gosh, I'm really absorbed in this book..."
I feel bad for you. And no, Pizza Slut isn't funny. Hopefully she doesn't laugh every time she says it.
