Have You Met Stevie Backstage??? How Did It Happen?

Just curious on this one. I've heard a lot of people that have and I was just curious how it came to be. If she saw me in the audience during a show could she potentially ask me to come, or do you have to have connections, or what if you have talked to people in her band. Do they have the clout to get you back there? Just curious.

She once saw me in the balcony..stopped Edge Of 17...and told security to bring me backstage after the show. Stevie is just nice that way.

actually it was in omaha after show when fleetwood mac was here! a local radio station gave away 2 sets of passes and I got a picture with all of them but no autographs you were told not to ask either! it was very fast! mick was the nicest of all!

You are definitely ambitious Ethan-- you mention you've never seen her solo, you don't yet have a ticket and your goal is not only to get to the front, but to get backstage! I saw your post on Taku's website. There are many many fans that haven't gotten to the front, let alone shaken her hand and even less fans ever had the opportunity to meet Stevie back stage. I hate to see you disappointed, but take the time to enjoy the moment you have just attending the show. Someday you may be lucky enough to meet her. But realize most fans have never had that opportunity. Some fans have purchased tickets to some of her benefit shows and had the time to meet Stevie after the show at those events (for about $1000 per ticket), some have won the opportunity via radio contests. Be careful to not come off as a stalker.

Totally understand. I am just very excited to just see Stevie. I think it will be amazing. Just hope we can get some seats in the first 10 rows.

What? You were told not to ask autographs? It's really depressing the grade of idiocy entourages can reach. To spend few seconds for an autograph doesn't sound really a tough task, even for FM. ;)
