Hey everyone! This is my first post! I am a 16 year old fan of Stevie and Fleetwood Mac.
I was wondering...Are there any plans to remaster Stevie's original albums. They are long overdue for a remaster.

Hey! Welcome to the forum:wavey:
"It was something that was mentioned as a possibility, after the re-issued Fleetwood Mac albums came out. So it is allways a possibility, but so far no "official" news.
Again, welcome.

Hi there,
Welcome to the Ledge. Always nice to have fellow "young-un's" around. I'm 17 so ur not alone dude. As for the remaster thing...I WISH! How amazing would Bella Donna, Wild Heart and Rock A Little be remastered? I also think that if OSOTM was remastered it would make people appreciate it a little more. I don't think it's as bad as people round here say it is.

Yes that's right. Definately not the only young one around here. I am 16 myself and have only been a fan since 2003.
Remasters would be really great. Although, I would rather have a new album than remasters, but that's just me.

Welcome to the board Brett :wavey:
I have to ask because I think it is just so wonderful that Stevie has fans that are in the younger generation. I myself am 37, but have been a fan since I was around 11 (okay, feeling old here now).... anyway, I became a fan during the height of her popularity and I was coming of age when I can express my own muscial interests. With all the popular musical artists out today in the main stream music world, how do teenagers discover Stevie?

Through my Mum! :) Also the recognition that the eighties artists could kick today's rubbish into the ground!
Brett, you're very welcome to the board! I'm 17 -- youth unite!:wavey:

My family was in Destin Florida in 2003, and we were picking up the new Harry Potter book and my dad saw SYW on the shelf and he picked it up. When we got in the car, he put it in and I took the album booklet and was looking at the lyrics as the c.d played. I instantly fell in love.

So very cool that your parents have great taste in music.
I seem to have hijacked this thread about teenagers becoming fans and not remasters. Sorry about that, but just am so excited that Stevie is experiencing this growth in popularity so future generations can truly rock out to a legend.
Has anyone else wondered what it would be like if in a few years, Stevie and Jessie worked on a song together? I would pass out, but not exactly sure what kind of music really inspires Jessie yet, some have eluded to punk rock, but you never know.

Welcome!!!! I love to hear about Stevie fans your age. I've been a serious fan since '85 so I'm quite a bit older but it just proves how timeless Stevie and her music really are. I pray every day that they will remaster and rerelease all of Stevie's solo albums with extra tracks and expanded album artwork, etc. How cool would that be?

Well first of all I don't think that 37 is old. :)
I have always hated music that is out today...everything sounds so bland and too commercial. I discovered Stevie when I heard "Edge Of Seventeen" on the radio a couple years back. I remember hearing the song and thinking..."Wow! That is such a powerful song!" So a few months went by and I kept hearing it on the radio every now and then; so I looked up Stevie on Youtube.com and saw a link for the "Stand Back" video. When I watched it I immediately remembered hearing from the radio a while back. The music just pulled me in...and I loved the sound of Stevie's voice. So after seeing the "Stand Back" video I went to Best Buy and bought Timespace and Bella Donna. I soon ordered The Wild Heart and Rock A Little from amazon.com. And I have been in love with her music ever since. I also bought the Fleetwood Mac albums because I had heard "Gypsy" and "Dreams" from the radio also. :)

Wow, it really is a small world, I too really got drawn to Stevie by hearing E017 on the radio constantly and really getting into that song. I too have also liked hearing Rhiannon on the radio and being mezmerized by her vocals. Sometimes I caught GDW too and just got drawn into Stevie's little world and here I remain. :) Hearing Stand Back and then seeing the video on MTV really cemented my fandom for Stevie. So from the early 80's to now and in the future, I will always be drawn to Stevie's music. Definitely timeless.
(side note): On my way home today from meeting a former co-worker for lunch (who is also a fan), I heard EO17, so that was my Stevie moment for the day. I gave my friend a Stevie t-shirt that I got from the show in Vegas in March. She loved it, she said it felt like Christmas. I gave her the brown one with Leather and Lace lettering on it.

My parents never were into Fleetwood Mac or Stevie that much. I don't know why, but they just weren't. But I am making up for what they missed out on. :)

so sad. at the very least she should do BD and WH. if she doesn't want to do all of WH, i'd settle for the title track and nightbird.

Aren't the songs on Timespace, Enchanted, The Divine Stevie Nicks, and CV remastered. If so, that is a large percentage of her work

i would hope they're remastered ... but i think people are also looking forward to repackaging, and maybe some demos specific to each album.

that would be cool.
Personally, I think she should release that through iTunes or on her website. I'd pay $1.99 for some RAL and WH videos a la the Bella Donna sessions.

i am sure those RAL videos would be a nightmare. but i would pay for ones from WH.

I think I remember her saying the WH sessions were taped (maybe in her BTM) -- I think the RAL ones probably were not because RAL was so disjointly recorded. I think the OSOTM ones would be cool and the TISL ones a hoot with Sheryl and her constellation of stars.
