Lindsey's going to be on RTE Radio One next Thursday!!

Dave Fanning Drivetime, 7pm-8pm. He's sharing a slot with David Grey, God help us, but it's still great to see him get some airtime on this side of the water!!
Can't wait! I'm listening to Dave interviewing Bryan Ferry right now and it's really good, I hope Lindsey will go down just as well.

It's a neat little interview. He goes a full fifteen minutes, bless his heart, before he gives us the painting analogy. Recorded in LA, no mention of a European tour... :(

I can't believe the interviewer read him Stevie's "we were hostages in Iran and Lindsey was the Ayatollah" quote. That had me in stitches. :laugh:

Okay, I liked this interview. Yes, it was the same old crap, but it was rather refreshing to hear Lindsey talk about FM in a slightly more positive way than he has been doing lately. I liked this:

"Because I'll tell you one thing, no matter what happens...we have been through so much together, I've known Stevie since I was 16 years old...whatever I could say, good or bad and whatever they could say about me, good or bad...whether or not we are -quote- friends even, which we are...I've been through more with these people than anybody and I know them as well, or better than anybody and we *will* get to a point where we end up in the place we should end up when we stop."

That last sentence is sweet. I'm surprised he didn't say the world 'cycle' at least once. :laugh:
