Thankfully, my brother called me this am to give me a head's up about it. The interview was pretty good. Some highlight's:
- She said she loved San Diego cause it's so close to home.:D
- She said if she spent a night in SD she'd spend it in downtown SD.
- They asked her if she had a black bathing suit if she went to the beach here, and she said "yeah- of course-with a black skirt to go over it!" :laugh:
- She mentioned she had so many black skirts that when someone asks to borrow one she just lets them have it.
- They asked if she regretted never having kids and she said no- that it's hard enough for her Yorkie to travel and everytime they leave the Yorkie looks at her like, we're going? Again???
- She said you never get old living by the ocean.
- She talked about Walter Reed but said she couldn't comment on what's going on over there.
- They couldn't believe how old she was and she said she just takes good care of herself and stayed out of the sun (to use either an umbrella or hat)
After she got off the phone they said that she was one of the best interviews they had ever done, how great she was, etc.
